NetherRealm Studios has revealed the planned release window for each character in Mortal Kombat 1's first Kombat Pack, confirming the order they'll come out and letting us know how long we'll have to wait for everyone.
Following the initial announcement of the first Kombat Pack a few months ago and a general silence since then, NetherRealm has finally given us a proper look at the first post-launch character that's coming to Mortal Kombat 1 - Omni-Man. Alongside showing us a bit of Nolan's moveset (and more importantly, his ginormous ass), the trailer also confirmed that Omni-Man is aiming to be added to the game at a currently unspecified date in November.

That's not the only update that NetherRealm provided about Mortal Kombat 1's first Kombat Pack, however. In a press release shared after the Omni-Man trailer was showcased, it also revealed the release windows for the rest of the first wave of DLC, as well as a bit more information about some of the Kameos that can be expected.
Let's start off with the fighters, as they're obviously the biggest part of the pack. The press release confirms that the next character that is planned to be released is Quan Chi, who is slated for a "Winter 2023/2024" release. After that, it'll be Peacemaker, who is also listed with a release window of "Winter 2023/2024", but is likely going to come after since he was shown third in the Kombat Pack reveal trailer.
Then, in "Spring 2024" we have Ermac and Homelander, who seems to be releasing around the same time as the next season of The Boys. Although both are listed as "Spring" it seems likely that Homelander will come after Ermac as we don't yet even know if Anthony Starr is voicing the character, suggesting he's not as far along. Finally, we have the standout of the Kombat Pack, Takeda, who is slated for a "Summer 2024" release window.
Although it's a little strange that Takeda is coming last since he was shown fifth in the Kombat Pack reveal, it makes sense when you consider that Warner Bros, is likely aiming to get Homelander out before him so that it can coincide with The Boys. It's going to be a painful wait for us Takahashi diehards, huh?
The press release also confirmed that the five new Kameo fighters are Tremor, as revealed in the Omni-Man trailer, Ferra, Janet Cage, Khameleon, and Mavado, as was accidentally confirmed by Amazon way back when Mortal Kombat 1 was announced. Interestingly, Janet Cage was originally said to be Johnny Cage, so it seems to have either been hidden to keep the surprise, or changed somewhere along the way.
