PS Plus Essential's Monthly Games for March 2024 Available Now on PS5, PS4 | Push Square

We need to cut 2K Sports, or indeed any tennis game developer, some slack here: lining up a complete list of pros is not easy. That’s because, unlike in other sports, there’s no governing body in tennis overseeing the likenesses of players, so contracts need to be signed on a case-by-case basis. Nevertheless, the full roster of playable pros in TopSpin 2K25 does look extremely light.

Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance was previously locked in for release on the 21st June, but for whatever reason, it's now launching one week earlier, on the 14th June. Atlus has confirmed the new date via its social media accounts, and states that any current pre-orders should now be fulfilled on the updated schedule.

A glut of additional PS5 and PS4 games are coming to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium this week, and as is usually the case, there's a lot of variety on show. March's update, which consists of 13 titles across the two tiers, has everything from sports sim NBA 2K24 to ultra-niche Super Neptunia RPG.

In January, the «Pokemon with guns» game Palworld blew up the internet. Thanks partly to its availability via Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview, the game attracted some 25 million players. Developer Pocketpair says that plans to bring the game to other platforms continue apace, and discussions with unnamed platform holders are underway, likely including PlayStation.

Out later this week in Japan, publisher Red Art Games has announced that it’s bringing MACROSS Shooting Insight to PS5 and PS4 in North America and Europe later this year, marking the first time a tie-in based on the 80s anime franchise has officially launched in the West. The game, a multi-dimensional shooter, has been developed by Kaminari Games, who’s perhaps best known for the brilliant Raiden V: Director’s Cut.

Sony has confirmed the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for March 2024, including titles like NBA 2K24 on Extra and Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier on Premium. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will be able to claim these games beginning March 19.

Sony has revealed the games joining its PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogue in March, with Capcom's Resident Evil remake and Firaxis' stellar superhero strategy game Marvel's Midnight Suns leading the charge.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the March 2024 Game Catalog lineup for Extra and Premium subscribers, and Classics Catalog titles for Premium subscribers.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is an upcoming 3D action platformer and the sequel to the latest animated film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, picking up the story several months later. It's due out on PS5 and PS4 in Q4 of 2024, and we got our first glimpse of it in screenshots and learned more about the game's structure.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will soon have two additional perks to claim, with one for Persona 3 Reload and another for Final Fantasy 14. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the priciest tier of Xbox Game Pass, but it comes with some major benefits that make it worthwhile for many subscribers.

How's that for a shadow drop? Survival-shooter series STALKER has just arrived on PS4 (and PS5, via backwards compatibility). All three titles, which released for PC back in 2007, 2008, and 2009 respectively, are available to buy through the PS Store right now.
