During the closing ceremonies of the 2023 Pokemon World Championships in Yokohama, Japan, a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet And Violet: The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero Part 2 — The Indigo Disk debuted. The new video revealed several blasts from Pokemon’s past, as every starter Pokemon from previous generations of the game will appear in the wild.
All 24 starters from previous Pokémon games—from Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle to Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble—made an appearance in the trailer. Each of them will appear throughout the Blueberry Academy’s different biomes, where they can be caught and trained like ordinary wild Pokémon.
The trailer also showcased a new slate of Paradox Pokemon which will also arrive in The Indigo Disk. Raging Bolt—which looks like the Gen 2 legendary Raikou mixed with a Tallneck from Horizon: Zero Dawn—showed off its new Thunderclap attack. The other new Paradox Pokémon, the Cobalion-inspired Iron Crown, unleashed a new move of its own called Tachyon Cutter. The trailer ended by teasing a new 19th type for Tera Pokémon, though no specifics were revealed.
The 2023 Pokémon World Championships Closing Ceremonies also revealed new information for Pokémon Unite and the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Pokémon Unite will add Blaziken, Mimikyu, and Meowscarada to its playable roster, while Paradox Pokémon and the return of the Ace Spec mechanic are coming to the Pokemon TCG.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. The first part of the Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero DLC, The Teal Mask, will launch September 13.

With the Scarlet and Violet expansion on the horizon, it seems that Game Freak is determined to give the title a big send-off. 7 Star Raids are limited-time events that offer the most challenging content in the game. Only the most hardcore Pokemon Trainers stand a chance of beating these Raids, and that’s never been more true than with the Mewtwo Raid. I can’t sugarcoat it; this fight is borderline unfair! Consider yourself warned, and let me show you how to beat the Mewtwo Tera Raid in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Sadly, gaming leaks are all too common in today’s gaming world. These leaks hit AAA titles the hardest as people will want to “inform the public” of certain details, if possible, about what they’ll be playing soon. This frustrates game developers to no end as they want their games to both be fun and secretive versus simply being “out there” for everyone to know with a click of a mouse button. The Pokemon Company has been dealing with leaks about their titles for years, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest to once again have leaks.
After The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, Falcom moves on from the Erebonian saga. However, it looks to be enhancing previous entries in the series for PS5 players, published by NIS America. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) recently rated PS5 versions of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 and 4. Each title has a “T” for Teen rating due to violence, language and some suggestive themes.
You might want to avoid social media today if you’re an avid Pokémon fan. Yet another Pokémon game has leaked ahead of its release. A handful of Pokémon and other information about Pokémon Scarlet andViolet’supcoming DLC, The Teal Mask, has been leaked online.
Konami’s return to the forefront in gaming has seen the Japanese company bringing back many of its beloved dormant franchises. In September last year, the company announced Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, giving it a 2023 launch window. However, the wait for the remaster is going to be longer than previously expected.
Nintendo continues to go from strength to strength with each passing year. The Japanese video game company's most recent console, the Nintendo Switch, has become a popular choice for gamers, even though it is significantly underpowered in comparison to Sony and Microsoft's consoles. However, this hasn't stopped its sales, as it recently surpassed the sales of Nintendo's previous best-selling console in the US, the Wii. The launch of Nintendo's latest exclusive, Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has given a major boost to the console's popularity.
That a Nintendo Switch successor is in the works isn’t a secret to anyone at this point, though of course, with the Switch itself now deep into its seventh year, questions are being asked with greater frequency about when Nintendo will choose to formally unveil its next-gen console. Interestingly, the Japanese may already have taken the first steps on that front.
