Pokémon players have uncovered an incredibly easy way to generate an infinite amount of money in Scarlet and Violet’s new DLC, The Teal Mask, but it takes so long to do that I’m not sure why anyone would actually want to do it.

Leakers believe Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Teal Mask DLC's final lineup will include new Pokémon, a Bloodmoon Ursaulana and Sinistcha.
According to Centro Leaks, «the biggest source of Pokémon leaks, rumours, and news», the two new arrivals will join Munkidori, Okidogi, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, Dipplin, and Poltchageist when the DLC launches on 13th September.
The Sinistcha «pretends to be tea, trying to fool people into drinking it so it can drain their life-force» – although the ruse is «generally unsuccessful» – and is thought to be from the same line as Poltchageist, as it looks like a Poltchageist, albeit with a different container.
As for Ground/Steel-type Bloodmoon Ursaluna? For Scarlet, Centro says, «it crossed the sea and drifted ashore in a new land. Surviving in this place led it to take on a unique appearance and gain special powers,» whilst in Violet, «this special Ursaluna can see in the dark with its left eye and protects itself with mud that is as hard as iron».

As is usually the case with these things, we can only take it with a bucket full of salt for now but try to look surprised if the rumours do turn out to be true when the DLC drops later month.
Pokémon Go is slinging open the gates to Paldea with its first batch of additions from last year's Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which join the game next week.

As unintentionally glitchy as Pokémon Scarlet and Violetoften felt at launch, their introduction of a massive, truly open world felt like a major step forward for the core franchise, and the promise of DLC made it seem as if Game Freak might have a solid plan to evolve the titles even further. Unfortunately, The Teal Mask — the first half of Scarlet and Violet’s announced DLC drops — doesn’t bring any of the sorely needed bug fixes that players have been begging for since the games debuted earlier this year.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's first DLC expansion, The Teal Mask, is a commendable step in the right direction that's held back by some familiar technical shortcomings.
The Pokemon Company had its first big release of 2023 via the launch of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, known as “The Teal Mask.” The content is the first part of the “Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero” content that will continue via the second part, called “The Indigo Disk.” The first part of the DLC took players to a new land full of Pokemon and mysteries. However, despite the content’s seemingly successful launch, the title is already going to get an update to fix issues. This was revealed by the game’s Japanese Twitter account, and they highlighted some of the things that would be fixed.
Kitakami sits at the base of a mountain range, rice paddies and fruit orchards surrounding the small village. Rivers run through the mountains, which expand well past the village limits, to create an idyllic little world to explore in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet’s new The Teal Mask DLC. It’s an altogether brief adventure, and it doesn’t reach the heights of the one I undertook when Scarlet and Violet were released last year — but it’s brimming with charm and character nonetheless.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: The Teal Mask is an interesting bit of DLC for a few reasons. The biggest one is that it’s part of a set of two, which means the story that it tells is going to continue with The Indigo Disk when that releases later this year. The other reason it’s interesting is that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are, at least in my opinion, some of the worst entries in the franchise we’ve had.
When you’re roaming around Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet’s The Teal Mask DLC, you might be wondering why you aren’t spotting Bloodmoon Ursaluna, one of the new Pokémon iterations in the Kitakami region. The reason is because Bloodmoon Ursaluna is gated behind a side quest that’s easy to miss or deprioritize.
The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC has added a piece of technology advanced enough to bring every uncle or dad on vacation joy. Now, the game features a selfie stick that makes it easier to take photos with your Pokémon. The addition, along with other new photo options, brings subtle but much-appreciated changes to capturing memorable scenes in the game.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's first DLC is here — and it's full of bugs.
The Teal Mask is full of Pokemon with unique and bizarre evolution requirements. I love trying to figure these out for myself, but some tiptoe the line between inspired and obtuse. Basculegion is one such Pokemon, and the evolution conditions are so strange that it’s unlikely to be discovered without help. Even finding a Basculin in the first place is no mean feat. With this in mind, let me show you how to get Basculegion in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – Teal Mask.
The Teal Mask for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is out now, as the first DLC for this generation of Pokémon. It might have been a while since you last ventured into Paldea, so Nintendo has released a story recap to get you up to speed ahead of the Pokémon DLC.
