Weeks after the previous Tera raid battle event, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet confirm the return of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves as Dive-star Tera raid bosses. The last time Walking Wake and Iron Leaves appeared in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet respectively was during the 2023 winter holiday season, so players who have not already done so will have another chance to catch these elusive Pokemon.
As two of the rarest Paradox Pokemon from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Walking Wake will exclusively appear in Pokemon Scarlet, as will Iron Leaves in Pokemon Violet. Ergo, trainers must trade or host online Tera raid battles and allow other players to join in and catch the Paradox Pokemon from the opposite game. Based respectively on the Legendary Pokemon Suicune and Virizion, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are powerful Paradox Pokemon that can bolster their attacks via the Protosynthesis and Quark Drive abilities. Just like the Pokemon they are based on, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are part of a trio, with the former joined by Gouging Fire and Raging Bolt, and the latter by Iron Crown and Iron Boulder.
According to Serebii.net, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will appear in Five-Star Tera raid battles starting on Thursday, April 25, at 8:00 PM Eastern, and ending on Sunday, May 5, at 7:59 PM Eastern. This round of Tera raid battles will start just a few weeks after Meganium the Unrivaled took the stage as a seven-star Tera raid boss in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Walking Wake will have the Water type as its Tera type, and Iron Leaves will be a Tera-Psychic foe. Like previous rounds, the Paradox Pokemon will start the battle with Sunny Day and Electric Terrain to activate their respective abilities and boost their attack power.
However, the return of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves comes with the caveat that only one Walking Wake and Iron Leaves each can be caught per Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet save file. But, players who previously snagged a Walking Wake or Iron Leaves will not walk away empty-handed from these battles. Both Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will drop Tera Shards, EXP Candies, and valuable items such as Nuggets and Pearl Strings that can be sold at a vendor for money.
While this is not the first time Walking Wake and Iron Leaves have been featured in Tera raid battles, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will soon have another opportunity to face them. It remains to be seen if other Legendary Pokemon will join the fray as Tera Raid bosses.

A Pokemon player has successfully managed to transfer the rare Mew from Space World 1997 into the modern-day Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games. The Pokemonuniverse contains many rare and legendary creatures, and the powerful Psychic feline Mew may very well be one of the most elusive of all. Despite playing a major role in the lore of the original Pokemon Red and Blue games, Mew could not be encountered or captured in the base game without glitches or datamining. This would be the case for every mainline Pokemon game until Generation 4’s Diamond and Pearl, which allowed players to import it from the Wii My Pokemon Ranch spin-off.
A new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mass outbreak event makes it easier to catch shiny versions of specific Pokemon. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet mass outbreaks are when a large number of the same Pokemon all spawn in the same area. The increased spawn rate typically means that mass outbreaks make it slightly easier for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players to catch shiny variants of Pokemon.
