Pokemon Scarlet & Violet can get a free Pokemon, Flutter Mane, for a limited time as part of the game's latest promotional event. This Flutter Mane being given away to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet fans isn't just an ordinary one, either, as it is inspired by the one used by the winner of the 2023 Pokemon Trainers Cup, Shin Yeo-myeong.
Mystery Gift codes are one of the most awaited aspects of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, as they give players a chance to get some extremely powerful Pokemon. The last Mystery Gift code was released back in March, giving players a free level 20 Pawmot in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. While Pawmot is a really good Pokemon with a rare Electric/Fighting type matchup, its release in Generation 9 was overshadowed by the likes of Iron Hands, which offers much better stats. That being said, its Revival Blessing move can turn the tide of the battle if used correctly. Now, players are getting yet another powerful critter to add to their party.
To celebrate the finals of the Korean Pokemon Trainers Cup, players can get a free level 50 Flutter Mane by redeeming the Mystery Gift code987W1THSPECS. The Korean Pokemon Trainers Cup finals is being held in Seoul, South Korea between May 5 and May 6, and is only open to players who placed in the top 32 in the Pokemon Trainers Cup. Flutter Mane will only be available for redemption until May 7, 2024, so players should grab the code as soon as possible.
As far as the stats of the Pokemon are concerned, there are tons of bells and whistles attached to this one. Firstly, it comes in a fancy and extremely rare Cherish Ball which is only available through special events. Additionally, the Pokemon also comes with the Held Item Choice Specs that increases the special attack by 50% at the cost of limiting the user to only move per battle. Players also get the Partner Ribbon and the Battle Champion Ribbon along with the Pokemon.

The Flutter Mane has a Timid nature, which boosts its Special Attack at the cost of its Attack stats. The Fairy Tera-type ensures that the Flutter Mane has extremely good type coverage, as it counters its Ghost-type weakness and boosts its Fairy-type attacks even further. With the extremely high emphasis on the Special Attack stats with this Flutter Mane build, players will mostly be relying on Dazzling Gleam and Moonblast. Shadow Ball is a great move to use as well, considering it benefits from the same-type attack bonus. Lastly, Thunderbolt can be used to provide some added type coverage. Considering that Flutter Mane is considered one of the top Pokemon to use as per the current meta, getting one that was used by one

Do you love the smell of napalm in the morning? If so, you'll probably love the smell of Valheim's Ashlands biome, which has just launched for all players after a period of beta testing. Sadly, my computer is incapable of producing smells beyond a faint reek of encrusted pasta sauce and regret, but if it did, I imagine I'd even now be basking in the aroma of burning bone and feather, because that is what the 10 new creatures you'll meet in the Ashlands consist of, broadly. Shout-out in particular for the monster that resembles a combusting sink clog with spider legs. Very Possum-esque.

A Pokemon player has successfully managed to transfer the rare Mew from Space World 1997 into the modern-day Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games. The Pokemonuniverse contains many rare and legendary creatures, and the powerful Psychic feline Mew may very well be one of the most elusive of all. Despite playing a major role in the lore of the original Pokemon Red and Blue games, Mew could not be encountered or captured in the base game without glitches or datamining. This would be the case for every mainline Pokemon game until Generation 4’s Diamond and Pearl, which allowed players to import it from the Wii My Pokemon Ranch spin-off.
