Palworld players warn of Pal-stealing hack as developers apologize for cheating problem

The Finals devs are continuing their war against the FPS's controversial 'nuke', with yet another patch aimed at countering the strategy.

Presumably not ready to leave Attack on Titan behind after its anime finale, one Palworld player has recreated the series' iconic central city on a massive scale, purportedly without the use of any mods to make things easier. 

Layoffs have been reported at Toys for Bob, the developer behind Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time and the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. They form part of the ongoing consolidation efforts necessitated by parent company Activision's acquisition by Microsoft, resulting in 1900 roles being made redundant. Some 86 workers have been let go, and the studio's office shuttered. Contrary to some earlier confusion, that's the physical address; Toys for Bob will remain active, and most remaining employees will now work remotely.

One Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player was recently amused to realize that The Indigo Disk's Savanna Plaza is shaped like a giant frying pan. While their observation qualifies as one of those things that cannot be unseen after being pointed out, it would appear that this neat little detail went unnoticed by many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans up until recently.

An Overwatch 2 player claims they were banned from Quick Play for over three and a half years. Unless this ban is lifted prematurely, this unfortunate Overwatch 2 fan won’t be able to queue into this casual game mode until late September 2027.

Before Israel’s war in Gaza, Palestinian programmer Doaa Ghandour was working on Palestine Skating Game’s grind rails. Any skater — be that skateboarding or roller skating — knows rails are essential to street-style skating. In Palestine Skating Game, these grind rails weave through the West Bank, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater-style, for use as you spray graffiti on the Israeli-built separation wall.

Arrowhead Game Studios has released a statement, announcing that it is actively working on fixing problems faced by the PC release of Helldivers 2. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), a statement by game director Mikael Eriksson says that the studio has made a patch for Helldivers 2, which is set to come to PC first, followed by the PS5 version of the game.

CoD MW3 Season 2 has brought a whole host of new content, with maps such as Stash House earning fan praise for not only being an “instant classic”, but also for featuring a Breaking Bad link in the maps’ trailer.

Even though is an expansive, fun game, it's still in Early Access, and as with any EA game, it comes with its own glitches and bugs. Luckily, most of the bugs in the game aren't too game-breaking, with some, like the Pal Sphere glitch, feeling more like an awesome feature rather than something that needs to be patched. That said, the developers of the game, Pocketpair, are hard at work patching and updating both the Xbox and PC versions of the games, and some of these glitches may not even exist within a few days.

A group of Super Mario Maker players are attempting to beat every level ever created by other users before the Wii U's online services shut down for good. With the Nintendo Switch currently being the Japanese game giant's focus, Nintendo has been phasing out the services of its previous consoles, the Wii U and 3DS. While fans knew that these were being shut down, Nintendo finally confirmed the exact date the Wii U and 3DS servers will go offline. This closure will affect all games released on these systems that have online play and communication, such as the first Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, and Super Mario Maker.
