The last few days have brought news of layoffs at Unity, Lost Boys Interactive, Thunderful Group, and others, and another name has now joined that list in the form of CI Games, the publisher of Lords of the Fallen and Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

CI Games, the publisher behind last year's Lords of the Fallen and the Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise, has laid off 10 percent of its staff, as first reported by GamesIndustry.biz. The publication says its sources pointed to laid-off staff posting about the job cuts on LinkedIn, but has since received confirmation from CI Games.

With a new day comes yet another Lords of the Fallen patch. The folks at Hexworks certainly aren't resting on their laurels despite the game's positive commercial debut hinted by CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski on Twitter.

We can also expect key data regarding sales for Lords of the Fallen soon too, but we already know it’s been more of a success than the 2014 original.
