Warner Bros. has opened registrations for a Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League closed alpha test.

will follow Amanda Waller's Task Force X, a team comprised of some of the DC Universe's rogues as they battle DC's primary superhero team, the Justice League. The title takes place in the same universe as Rocksteady Games' titles, and instead of the team being inmates at the Belle Reve super prison, Waller recruits them from Arkham Asylum.

Following a disappointing reveal at the PlayStation State of Play earlier this year, Rocksteady took another stab at introducing fans to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League with the first entry in a new video series called Suicide Squad Insider.

Last night, Rocksteady released a 20-minute gameplay video of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, unveiling it for the first time since delaying it earlier this year. While the live-service elements like the battle pass are still proving controversial, it's an unrelated snippet from a seven-second clip that's riled up gamers.

Rocksteady Studios’ Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the fifth mainline title from the Batman: Arkham series. However, rather than fighting criminals as a DC superhero, this time players will be taking control of supervillains as members of the Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League recently received an extensive new gameplay look, with Rocksteady discussing the story and showcasing the combat, including mechanics like Juggle Kill and Counter Shot. The Standard and Deluxe Editions are also available to pre-order, with PS5 players getting a special Rogue Outfits bundle. However, that’s not all they benefit from.

The long-delayed Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is finally seeing release in February 2024, and fans just got another look at the game via the first in a series of developer diaries. That new video not only reveals new gameplay footage and the fact that Metropolis will be twice the size of Arkham City’s Gotham map, it also addresses perhaps the single biggest mystery surrounding the plot of the game. Namely, how exactly can a team this small and underpowered hope to defeat the entire Justice League?

It's been nearly nine months since Rocksteady finally unveiled the debut gameplay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League during February's State of Play showcase.

You can say plenty about the upcoming Rocksteady Studios title Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. First, this game has been in the works for a LONG time, and we should’ve gotten it by now. During its latest Q3 earnings call, CEO David Zaslav confirmed that the company plans to transform its biggest video game franchises into long-term products, bolstered by regular content drops and heavy monetisation. In recent years, gamers have developed a distaste for such money-hungry practices, which often lock out content behind some form of paywall or a battle pass, instead of providing a complete game at launch. The idea is for players to keep playing WB-published games for months, instead of having AAA developers put out a new game every three to four years — which is the general cycle.

It’s since been delayed, and we haven’t seen anything new regarding the upcoming title. However, a new potential batch of leaks might have appeared on Reddit. A user on the website took notice of some details they’ve witnessed. Of course, we’re dealing with a grain of salt here. Since this is just comments being made online, it could very well be false.

Netflix unveiled the announcement trailer for Devil May Cry, a new animated adaptation of the popular Capcom hack and slash action series, at its Drop 01 animation showcase on Wednesday. DC Dual Force, the digital card game based on DC's universe of characters, has entered open beta (you can download it here) which means anyone is free to check out the game. It will also be coming to Steam when it gets its full, official release some time soon, and presumably other platforms.
