Faerie dragons, also known as sprite darters, blink dragons, fey dragons or fey drakes are diminutive, intelligent, and mischievous. Faerie dragons have a history that is nearly as intertwined into the story of Azeroth as that of the dragonflights.

A new sidequest in World of Warcraft gives fans a choice that actually influences the game world in a tangible way. Though it is a small detail, this Patch 10.2.7 sidequest allows World of Warcraft players to physically shape Azeroth by deciding where a grave marker will permanently appear in the game.

Although Patch 10.2 has been released for a few weeks now, secrets are still being discovered! Folks from the WoW Secret Finding Discord poked around the Emerald Dream and found a hidden Warglaive — Alara'shinu, a fel-themed version of the 10.2 World Quest warglaive! Thanks to Starverse, Ryldor, Scarseeker and Saltarith of <The Veiled Glaive> for the tip. If you aren't interested on the appearance, this is also a good starter weapon for any Demon Hunter alts, as it is ilvl441 Veteran 1/8, upgradeable all the way to ilvl463. Amirdrassil has left the Emerald Dream to be replanted in Azeroth, but how do we feel about the new location?

Dreamseeds are a popular world event in Patch 10.2, be it to farm reputation, work on your weekly to farm mounts and pets, or a quick way to fill in your Dream Energy bar for even more cosmetic rewards. Fortunately, the addon Plumber adds a lot of functionality that makes farming Dreamseeds that much more efficient! Good news outdoor enthusiasts, gear obtained from open world activities after the launch of Dragonflight Patch 10.2 have been updated to higher item levels and upgrade tracks! Weekly rewards are now part of the Adventurer upgrade track, allowing them to be upgraded all the way to 450 item level, while repeatable activities are capped at 437 on the on the Explorer track. Similar items obtained before Patch 10.2 maxed at 424 item level. As shared on Reddit by u/agrok and MrGM on Twitter, this creates more avenues of gear for players beyond what is available within the Emerald Dream, while also helping increase the pool of players in those older world events, but there are a few caveats:

Blizzard has announced that the bug preventing Seedbloom from being rewarded through completion of the weekly Blooming Dreamseeds quest has been fixed, and that players should receive any missing currency in mail within the Emerald Dream zone.

The Emerald Dream is a verdant and powerful place that serves as a source of life and hope and is essential to Azeroth's continued survival. It has been protected for centuries under the watchful eyes of the Green Dragonflight. In those centuries, they have fought off the Old Gods, the Burning Legion, and other threats. Now vulnerable to attack once again from Fyrakk and his forces, Azeroth's champions must pull together to save it from destruction at all costs.

In 10.2, Solarys Thorngale and Kery'nael Thorngale are two Druids of the Flame who regret the path they've chosen, and who return to the Night Elves of Amirdrassil. Helping these two out rewards an adorable Battle Pet, Kal'andu!

In Guardians of the Dream, there will be more opportunities to dash, dive, and dip through the skies in the saddle of your favorite dragon with new and challenging content. There are Dragonriding races for you and your scaled sky pal to master, world quests that take you on adventures filled with exploration, and more glyphs and customizations to collect. Also, you'll want to master your moves because Dragonriding is a critical ingredient in the new Raid, Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope.

With Patch 10.2 closing in, we're looking at one of the main collecting features of Guardians of the Dream: Dream Infusions! With Dream Infusing, you're able to collect Dream Energy by completing activities in the Emerald Dream, and once you have enough, you're able to infuse the Dream into an existing mount/pet type, and obtain a translucent version of that collectible! Below, we go through how to unlock the feature, obtain Dream Energy and a list of pets and mounts available from the system, as well as what is required for you to infuse the collectible.

The Guardians of the Dream update ushers in a new cycle of Public Events. Superbloom is the primary Public Event scenario in the Emerald Dream, alongside the Emerald Bounty, which has a series of micro-events triggered across the zone. Guardians of the Dream, the next major content update for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, will go live on November 7, one week ahead of the launch of Dragonflight season 3.

The Amirdrassil raid schedule has been released and the LFR wings are unlocking earlier in Season 3 with the final wing unlocking on Week 4 now! Previously, the final wing of LFR would unlock on Week 6, but now it will unlock on Week 4!

Known as the daughters of Cenarius, Dryads may resemble centaurs, but they originate in the Emerald Dream. In 10.2, we learn how these playful and curious creatures are born!

A surprising pairing can be found in the Emerald Dream in 10.2 — Lilian Voss, one of the Desolate Council members and leaders of the Forsaken, is working side by side with Shandris Feathermoon, Night Elf adopted daughter of Tyrande Whisperwind!

One nice interaction in the Emerald Dream is the /sleep emote. If you sleep in the Emerald Dream, instead of falling asleep you project yourself out of your body and can run around as a projection leaving your body behind.

Alongside the wealth of Druid form customizations coming in Dragonflight Patch 10.2, we've found two brand new animations specifically for Boomkin models! It's not quite clear if these are actually intended for players, as there are several Druids featured within Amirdrassil and the Emerald Dream, though it seems very likely that they could. With the latest Patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream PTR build, 6 new mounts were added. These mounts show creatures seen in the Dragon Isles and the Emerald Dream, but they're translucent! These will be obtainable from Elianna at the Central Encampment in Amirdrassil, with a new currency called Dream Infusion. It is currently unknown how to obtain this currency, but you will learn how to obtain it by reaching Renown 5 with the Dream Wardens.

Blizzard has released information regarding the two Public Events in the Emerald Dream coming in Patch 10.2, Superblooms & Emerald Bounties. Superblooms are a new major public scenario event while Emerald Bounties are a series of micro events triggered by players across the zone. Blizzard has also announced a focused testing session for Superblooms on Friday, September 22, starting at 4:00 p.m. PDT on the Iridikron PTR realm, where players can play alongside members of the WoW development team.

Among the many secrets in Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the Cowl of the Wolf Ancient is a special cosmetic wolf helmet available only to Orc characters, hidden inside the Emerald Dream! The Cowl can be found immediately after finishing Call of the Dream and entering the Emerald Dream, hidden away inside a cave on the westernmost island, with no other requirements to obtaining it — simply fly over to the cave entrance at 33,81 on the map and loot the cowl from its stand next to the oddly lifelike Statue of the Great Wolf. The Cowl is lootable from this little skull stand adjacent to the Great Wolf, though only Orc and Mag'har Orcs can use it. Non-Orcs aren't completely left out though! While not required to obtain the helm, that statue holds a different secret which any player can obtain with a minor detour. Shortly down the path at 30,80 on the map, players may see a shiny Mark of Goldrinn sitting upon a boulder. Interacting with it will trigger a 60 second Wolf Spirit Guardian buff during which an Honored Wolf Spirit will follow you. Bring the spirit to that Statue of the Great Wolf (aided by the convenient Treasure Chest icon on your minimap), and it will have a special dialogue option, revealing a nearby treasure chest containing the Claw of Lo'Gosh! Unlike the Cowl, the Claw is usable by all characters that can equip fist weapons! Back outside the cave, players may spot a similar Mark of Ursol outside, which activates a similar 60 second buff and accompanying bear spirit leading to another treasure, but we'll save that mystery for another time!

With the first Patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream PTR build, the 10.2 campaign is now available for testing. We played through the campaign to bring all the details. This post focuses on Chapter 2 of the campaign, Enter the Dream.
