Aspyr’s Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection had a shaky launch last month, facing several “critical errors” with its multiplayer and bugs. It’s since improved, with the development team’s second update out now on all platforms.

Aspyr has announced that the first post-launch update for Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection is out now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Available first on PC, it fixed issues like a crash that could occur in split-screen for Battlefront 1, re-balanced Asajj Ventress’ abilities, implemented fixes for Kit Fisto and more.

Star Wars: Battlefront Collection Classic recently launched for PC and consoles, bringing enhanced versions of Pandemic Studios’ classic Battlefront titles from the 2000s together and boasting support for large-scale multiplayer battles. Upon launch, however, the collection was met wide widespread backlash and criticism owing to a litany of connectivity and technical issues, with reports even suggesting that the game had, shockingly enough, launched with just three multiplayer servers.

The remake of Knights of the Old Republic is now in a strange situation, after Embracer’s sale of Saber Interactive.

It’s been confirmed that Saber Interactive is splitting from parent company Embracer Group in a deal worth $247 million, and the former will be taking a number of projects and studios that were previously under Embracer’s ownership with it.

Game developer Aspyr has launched Tomb Raider I-III Remastered update 1.02, fixing one of the trilogy’s most frustrating issues. Available to download now, the latest patch includes a handful of improvements for all three games as well as some of the bonus content.

2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Pandemic Studios and LucasArts original Star Wars: Battlefront, and to commemorate that occasion, Aspyr Media has announced a re-release that compiles the classic 2004 shooter and its 2005 sequel.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered is out now on PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The collection is priced at $29.99, and features the original three Tomb Raider titles with visual upgrades and performance enhancements. Check out the launch trailer below.

The fate of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake is once again up in the air, after a new report that the game is not currently being worked on at developer Saber Interactive.

The planned remake is reportedly no longer in development, according to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb in the latest episode of his Game Mess podcast.
