Larian Studios has filled their award-winning game with hundreds of pieces of armor, some requiring the felling of powerful bosses or monumental sums of gold to acquire. Much like many of these items are magical by nature and are well-sought after during a playthrough, but very few can be forged using a seemingly useless item.

The latest update to added a lot of changes, including even a new farm, and among the list of content that was added were many new items for players to discover in the game. From decorative things such as new wallpapers and furniture, to impressive new machinery to make a farm into a high-profit operation, 1.6 has a bit of everything. Of course, players are also now able to put hats on cats and dogs, which should deserve at least a mention among the coolest items in the new 1.6 update.

's omnipresent narrator may have found their way into the hearts of the game's community, but Larian Studios briefly flirted with bringing in an exceptionally experienced Dungeon Master to dictate the experience. Through players' adventures through the Forgotten Realms, the voice of the narrator, played by veteran actor Amelia Tyler, accompanies every major decision and moment in the story, chronicling every action and choice. While Tyler has earned plenty of praise for her performance, one of the most beloved content creators almost took on the role.

Larian CEO Swen Vincke confirms that more updates for Baldur's Gate 3 are on the way. This comes after Larian admitted that it won't work on any expansions for the game, nor its sequel, leading some fans to fear that support was being pulled altogether.
