No Rest for the Wicked Early Access Roadmap Revealed, Includes Multiplayer and Farming

Xbox Game Pass has added another day one game, Lightyear Frontier,which is launching in early access on March 19. Developed by Frame Break, the indie game combines farming sim with mech gameplay, and adventurers can explore the colorful open world of Lightyear Frontier solo or co-op with up to three friends. Players will use their mech’s machine gun to plant seeds or equip it with a chainsaw to gather resources while establishing a homestead on a distant planet.

Heart Machine, the studio behind Hyper Light Drifter, has revealed that the next game in the series, Hyper Light Breaker, will be coming to PC as an early access title this summer, as reported by IGN. The game acts as a prequel to Hyper Light Drifter, and will put players in the shoes of multiple different characters.

Prophecy Games’ Tribes 3: Rivals has entered early access for PC via Steam, offering seven different maps to play on and three classes with six perks. It has a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam so far, with 76 percent positive user reviews, but there are concerns over missing features like text chat, a server browser, vote-to-kick and more.

For those burned by Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Nightingale with their lack of offline options, there’s some good news. Moon Studios’ co-founder and tech/production director Gennadiy Korol revealed on Twitter that action RPG No Rest for the Wicked won’t require an online connection for single-player.

Ori and the Blind Forest developer Moon Studios has confirmed that its promising-looking Diablo-y Soulslike game No Rest for the Wicked will feature offline play for its solo mode.

GreedFall 2: The Dying World is Spiders’ ambitious sequel to its 2019 RPG, launching in early access this Summer. Though it revealed that players can go through the entire beginning of the game, it outlined what to expect in a new Steam post (while also laying out an early roadmap).

Announced for PS5 at The Game Awards last year, No Rest for the Wicked has returned with a lengthy gameplay showcase. Narrated by developer Moon Studios — the Austria-based team behind the Ori games — the footage shows huge promise. It's an isometric, dark fantasy RPG where you make your own character, experiment with various weapon-based fighting styles, and engage in bloody battle.

Moon Studios, creators of the impeccable Ori and the Blind Forest, has finally held a showcase for its next game, No Rest for the Wicked. It details the world, combat, and what already feels like a gripping story drenched in darkness and brimming with depth.

The two Ori games were gorgeous platformers that challenged your dexterity while tugging on your heartstrings. The next game from developers Moon Studios seems more likely to do the former than the latter. No Rest For The Wicked is a Souls-ish action RPG that apparently thinks you're extremely wicked.

No Rest for the Wicked from Moon Studios launches for PC via Steam Early Access on April 18th, and a roadmap has already been laid out. However, several details and gameplay were also revealed during the Wicked Inside Showcase, including the opening section. Check it out below.
