Blizzard has provided a brief set of instructions on how to begin testing in the War Within Beta as well as how you can submit feedback on the official forums.

Blizzard has announced that War Within Alpha realms have been taken offline for preparations for Beta launch tomorrow, June 5th. Hello! We’ve taken the Public Alpha realms offline part of our preparation for the Beta launch tomorrow so we can get all our ducks in a row.

The War Within introduces a new map filter for Warbands, toggling the visibility of previously completed quests! Throughout Dragonflight, many players complained about the density of quest icons in high-traffic areas such as Valdrakken. While these quests might have been completed on a main, any alts would have a hard time seeing through the sea of ! on their maps — making navigation through dense areas unnecessarily difficult. It's not easy being a fresh level 70 in Valdrakken.

Four new placeholder affixes have been added to the War Within Alpha. These have no data about what they actually do. Two of them have an icon attached to it

This week's Alpha update for The War Within includes a handful of new models and icons, including a new totem and the perfect grill to start your summer vacation in Azeroth!

Blizzard has posted The War Within Alpha development notes for today which now includes a new human racial to replace Diplomacy and tons of class and hero talent tuning.

Who needs candle when you have torch? The Cave Spelunker's Torch is a new toy found in Hallowfall on the The War Within Alpha! Credit to Solanya for showcasing this neat new toy on Twitter, which stands out both for its infinite duration and lack of cooldown, allowing players to use it as long or as often as they like! While similar torch-like transmogs exist in the game, they take the form of weapon transmogs, which aren't held like a proper torch, though this toy isn't purely cosmetic either, providing illumination within a moderately sized area.

The War Within alpha has introduced several more Trading Post items, including a recolor of Plunderstorm armor, as well as monthly activity themes.

Following an unexpected maintenance earlier today, The War Within Alpha realms are back online and available for testing!

The quests that will introduce players to the War Within zones are not available on the alpha, but a summary of these quests is showing up in character quest journals — revealing a serious plot twist!

Blizzard has posted The War Within Alpha development notes for today which now includes 40 talent loadouts, and more changes to Warlocks and Mages! Note that despite stating that Deathstalker is now available for testing, it does not appear to be in this build.
