The return of MultiVersus could be officially announced today.
The game’s official X account posted a brief message last week saying “*taps mic* testing, testing, 1, 2, 3”, and has been sending sporadic messages since then.
However, a new message posted over the weekend specifically noted that the game’s potential re-reveal could take place today at 6am PT / 9am ET / 1pm GMT.
“Mic check was a resounding success,” the post read. “Calling [game director] Tony [Huynh] to set Monday morning at 6am PT. Stay tooned!”
The MultiVersus open beta launched in July 2022 and was initially very popular, but its daily player count continued to drop as content updates slowed to a crawl.
The game was pulled from digital stores in April 2023 and went offline in June 2023, in preparation for its “full launch” this year.
