Mortal Kombat 1 has already given fans a lot to get excited about. Whether you're a Mileena stan or a hardcore 3D-era defender, MK1 has something for everyone. Well, as long as you're not a cyber ninja fan. Sektor and Cyrax are in the game, but so far, they're reduced to Kameo fighters, not playable in their own right.
Now, with just weeks until launch, the community is begging Ed Boon to reconsider their place in the game. After the series co-creator mentioned Sektor in a tweet, fans used that as an opportunity to make a case for the cyber Lin Kuei to join the main roster. This would be the first time the duo has been playable in 12 years, with their last appearance being in the 2011 reboot game, simply titled Mortal Kombat.

While Mortal Kombat fans certainly aren't afraid to make their dream roster picks known, this latest round of pleading comes after Ed Boon referenced Sektor in a tweet. Of course, this sparked a bunch of hype - and even hopes that an official reveal could be around the corner.
"Put him and Cyrax in either base roster or Kombat Pack 2!" replies Twitter user @MortalChampion.
"If Sektor and Cyrax are only Kameos, that’s a huge mistake on y’all’s part," agrees @FlyingCraneKick.
Others say that they would just be happy to see any cyber ninja representation on the main roster, including the Mortal Kombat X-exclusive Triborg. Right now, they're out of luck though. Not only are Sektor and Cyrax on the sidelines, but Smoke is in his human form once again, and Frost (who admittedly only became a cyber ninja in Mortal Kombat 11), is a Kameo fighter as well.
Yet as we've seen already, being a Kameo doesn't exclude you from the main roster. Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, and Scorpion already appear on both rosters, so we can expect more to make the leap too.
In fact, Boon once again played with the fans' emotions the other day and suggested exactly that. When Sonya mains asked if she'll be on the main roster, he simply replied, "Gotta wait." This can be interpreted as meaning that she hasn't had a chance for a reveal yet. Indeed, every character reveal trailer since the initial game tease has done it by faction. So all the ninjas were revealed together, as were those who will be close to the Edenian royal family's storyline. With this in mind, playable Sonya would likely be revealed during a segment on Earthrealm. The same can be said for the cyber ninjas though, so it's worth keeping an eye out for updates as we get closer to launch.

The movie contains plenty of, pop-culture references, and nods to other movies and video games. Do you want to know how the film hints at the rest of the DC Universe? Let’s find it out.
We all have a guilty pleasure movie, a film that we know might not be good, per se, but that's enjoyable enough for us not to care. Reddit users are sharing their choices, with picks including Nicolas Cage stealing the Declaration of Independence and Hugh Jackman as a monster hunter.
The time is nearing for the latest addition to the Mortal Kombat franchise to be released. While everyone is still coming off the hype of learning that the game will be a reboot rather than another step in the long line of games, a Brazilian retailer might have leaked a key detail about what kind of game mode we can expect in the upcoming release, a single-player mode (Invasion) for Mortal Kombat 1.
NetherRealm Studios has been doing an incredible job building up the hype for Mortal Kombat 1. Between the character trailers that highlight who is Koming and what changes they have and the Kombat Kasts that break down the fighter’s abilities, fans are getting hyped with virtually every week that passes. One recent announcement was the new trailer that heralded the return of Reptile, Ashrah, and Havik. These characters were both fan requests and ones that haven’t been around in a long time. As such, many wondered how the new game would affect their backstories in the new world that Liu Kang had created.
Mortal Kombat 1 made Reptile human again, so, of course, fans are hot for the transforming ninja lizard man (I'm counting myself among 'fans', for the record).
NetherRealm Studios have shared their Banished trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 at this year’s EVO.
Quan Chi is part of the first Kombat Pack's line-up, which many took to mean he won't be a part of Mortal Kombat 1's story. However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted him slumped over and knocked out in the new Banished trailer.
Franchise veteran Reptile and 3D-era characters Havik and Ashrah have been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 1 in an explosive new trailer.
NetherRealm Studios has been knocking it out of the park with all of the Mortal Kombat 1 trailers it has put out so far, and that continues with its newest one. EVO week has brought with it plenty of new updates on some of the biggest upcoming fighters, and with a new trailer, NetherRealm, too, has confirmed three more characters for Mortal Kombat 1’s roster.
Mortal Kombat 1 has been making an increasingly strong impression each time it has been shown off, from the new mechanics it’s introducing to the characters being revealed for its roster to the premise of its new, rebooted universe- but of course, there’s always room for improvement. For instance, those who’ve managed to get their hands on early builds of the game – like with June’s online stress test – have brought up the game’s slower movement speed and issues with the dashing. It seems, however, that NetherRealm Studios has already made improvements on that front.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a hit with most people, giving us an exciting world to explore and a character to customise however we like. While you'll struggle to find anyone with any major problems with the game, there is one thing that quite a lot of people would like to see implemented in a future patch or update, and that's more in-game details surrounding class progression when making a character.
