Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a pretty good game, but it’s not without some errors. Miles Morales’ apartment displays the flag for Cuba, but the family is Puerto Rican. Fans quickly picked up on this, and Insomniac Games announced a patch to fix the issue. Said patch is now live and displays the Puerto Rican flag.
The developer also said, “We understand that accurate representation matters, and greatly regret this error. We sincerely apologize and will do better in the future.”
Other fixes in the patch include improved stability and an issue where long play sessions would cause character models to not load properly. Also, if you felt the Spider logo on The Amazing 2 Suit was too bright (which is very unlike the prospects of its movie inspiration), that’s been fixed.

What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made recently? Don’t be afraid to share. We’ve all made mistakes that have been of a certain vein or style in the last week or so. But we hope that no matter your mistake, it was a “minor one” and not one that really upset people. Plus, players discovered a Cuban flag was displayed inside and outside the Morales household rather than the expected Puerto Rican flag. A new update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 out today fixes both of these issues and more.
