's fantasy world may not seem like it has modern weapons, but you can get a gun and other firearms if you obtain certain blueprints. The various Realms you can visit with your character introduce new quests that offer item schematics from unique worlds. Crafting the right Card will give you a chance to visit a land whose people can teach you how to create a gun of your own.
Before you can begin to hunt down gun blueprints, you need to have access to theAbeyance Realm through biome Cards. The first Card choice made in determines which Fae Realm's environment dominates your world's terrain and structures. This you choose cannot be Abeyance, but you should choose the Forest biome to shorten the steps it takes to reach a world with firearms.
The only way to get guns in is to either find Essence Traders who sell the blueprints or be rewarded with firearm schematics from the NPC Bass Reeves. Both of these options only exist in the ProvisionerRealm, a land you can only access with a Card of the same name. Gaining a Provisioner Card will start a quest with the character Wilhelmina Sasse in the Abeynance Realm related to Bass.
Talking to Wilhelmina reveals that Bass Reeves is a Lawman who has taken up residence in a Forest Provisioner Realm, which you can visit by combining Forest and Provisioner Cards. The quest will mark Bass' location on your map once you visit the Realm he's settled in. Talking to him starts the quest, where Bass tests your skills with a ranged weapon against some enemies.
One of the unique features of is how it approaches its crafting system. As long as you have a Simple Workbench, you should be able to combine the distinct materials in this game's world to make a ranged weapon for Bass' quest.
You need to land three headshots and two heart shots on enemies to pass Bass' trial. After succeeding, the Lawman will reward you with 1 Brazier, 1 Lancaster Pistol, 1 .451 Revolve Cartridge, 1 Marksman Card, 2 Conveyance Infusions, and 12 Powder (Sulfur). This unlocks a gun for your character to use, as well as the recipe it takes to make one anywhere else in 's shared fantasy worlds.
Other firearm schematics are sold by Essence Traders found in the Provisioner Realm as you explore the unfamiliar landscape. These merchants will offer plans for the Lancaster Pistol, Chasepot Rifle, and Smoothbore Shotgun in the Forest, Swamp, and Desert modified regions of the same Fae Realm. To get these guns in , you have to spend 15 T1 Essence for each blueprint offered.
