Finding and catching Okidogi in ’s DLC can be troublesome, as the first additional content to the Generation 9 games does not actually point out the location of the Legendary creature when you are able to confront it. Okidogi is one of the members of the Loyal Three, a trio of Legendaries that is exclusive to the Kitakami region. Kitakami, of course, is the area you explore while in the expansion. Capturing Okidogi and its allies is an essential part of completing the Kitakami Pokédex in ’s DLC.

Okidogi is a buff canine-like creature that is a dual Poison- and Fighting-type Pokémon. All members of the Loyal Three are, in fact, half-part Poison-type. Its main Ability, which it shares with the rest of the Loyal Three, is Toxic Chain. This Ability grants a chance of badly poisoning an opponent when the Pokémon with Toxic Chain uses a move. Okidogi has good stats and excels as a Physical damage dealer. Okidogi is one of the new Pokémon in ’s DLC, but finding and catching it can be an elusive task if you do not know where to look.

The first order of business is to unlock the catchable encounter with Okidogi in. This will only happen near the end of the DLC. You will first face Okidogi in battle, where it will present itself as a Titan Pokémon located in the northwest section of Kitakami.
The area is known as Paradise Barren. You will need to face this boss-like opponent in battle, beat it, and then continue through the campaign. Once issues have been settled in Kitakami, you will have unlocked the possibility of finding Okidogi, facing it as a wild Pokémon, and capturing it.
To find the catchable version of Okidogi, you will need to return to Paradise Barren in the northwest region of Kitakami. In the same location where you originally faced Okidogi as a Titan, you will now see it standing as a wild Pokémon in its natural habitat. To start the encounter with Okidogi in, you need only approach it and interact with it. Okidogi, like the rest of the Loyal Three, is a level 70 Pokémon.
Don’t forget to save before the battle for a hard reset in case you end up missing the catch. This can happen by knocking Okidogi out accidentally or running out of Poké Balls.
Okidogi is a fairly tough opponent. You will need to bring a sturdy and well-leveled team to withstand its power, as well as Pokémon that are able to reduce its HP significantly and possibly even apply a status effect to it. Sleep and Paralyze can increase its catch rate. There is no big secret to catching Okidogi, one of the new Legendaries in other than being careful and patient.
