Helldivers 2 Player Discovers Awesome Way to Kill Larger Enemies

The soldiers of Super Earth have made major progress in the ongoing Helldivers 2 Galactic War by successfully defending a large number of planets from enemy assault. The feat hasn't been accomplished by the game's community since Helldivers 2 first launched in February 2024.

Recent Helldivers 2 leaks give players an insight into new enemies that reportedly belong to the Illuminate faction. A couple of weeks ago, Helldivers 2's news broadcast referenced «rumors of Illuminate sightings», sneakily teasing the return of aquatic species. Besides, some eagle-eyed players claimed to have seen blue laser beams in the sky, which they think were shot by Illuminate snipers.

A Helldivers 2 player discovered the model for Eagle-1 came with its own hitboxes after a comedic midair collision. Since the game's release, there's been no shortage of videos showcasing the many ways Helldivers 2 players can expire in the line of duty, but one unfortunate soldier met a particularly gruesome end when they were launched into the air and subsequently hit by the series' iconic Eagle Fighter.

A creative Helldivers 2 player has produced a cool concept that would massively improve the game's Exosuit Mech Stratagem. The Exosuit Mechs in Helldivers 2 haven't fully lived up to their early promise, but with these changes, would be a force to be reckoned with in the Galactic War against the Terminids and Automatons.

Helldivers 2 players are asking Arrowhead to make the Super Earth flag a support stratagem that boosts the morale of nearby allies. Stratagems are the pinnacles of character loadouts in Helldivers 2, with which players can turn the tides in their favor. Each of them has a unique function; for instance, Eagle Cluster Bomb performs explosive attacks that clear hordes of enemies, while EMS Mortar Sentry stuns them for a limited time.

One Helldivers 2 player shared their neat ideas for new planetary hazards that could be added to the top-down shooter in the future. In a recent update, Helldivers 2 has introduced two new planetary hazards, blizzards and sandstorms, that have their own effects. Blizzards reduce the player's mobility and make it almost impossible to see enemy units. Sandstorms, on the other hand, are paired with intense heat that increases stamina drain.

A Helldivers 2 player has suggested a change to the Flamethrower, which could make it a much more effective tool for spreading managed democracy. Helldivers 2’s Flamethrower is already rather overpowered against the Terminids, but this idea could make it even better.

Arrowhead Game Studios issued a new Major Order, “Swift Disassembly” two weeks ago to destroy the entire faction, and players have seemingly succeeded. This is despite the Automatons deploying new walker-like Factory Striders and gunships.
