Hades 2 Players Are Noticing One Major Downgrade From The Original

Supergiant Games has released Hades 2’s first patch following its Early Access release last week.

A bunch of players are competing to cross the finish line of a brutally difficult tower of racetracks in racing game Trackmania, with a prize pool of $30,000 waiting for the first three drivers to reach the top. The course is a huge, winding gauntlet made of pieces suspended in midair, and even expert players have fallen from their positions over 1000 times, their cars hurtling back to the bottom of the tower to start again. They are 11 days into the event.

Supergiant Games’ Hades 2 launched to a positive critical reception (check out our review here) and a peak concurrent player count of 103,567 on Steam. Of course, this is only the beginning of early access, and it has a ways to go before its 1.0 release. The developer has outlined its goals for development, revealing that it’s released several “small hotfixes” to address crashes and progression bugs.

If players enter without prior knowledge, Melinoe can quickly get overwhelmed.
