Epic lands $1.5bn investment from Disney

Disney's popular trading card game, , releases special Enchanted rarity cards with each of its sets, beginning with 12 of these coveted cards in. When launched in the summer of 2023, the game had a rough start with distribution problems making it so getting any card for the game was a monumental task, much less the special Enchanted cards. It took several months, but the supply is now at a level where the game is fairly easy to find in stores, although the Enchanted cards are still elusive jewels.

As each set is added to the trading card game , the dynamics for competitive play and what cards are most desirable to create the strongest meta decks get switched up, and is doing it again in a big way. The introduction of location cards adds a whole new game mechanic for players to learn, and present large changes to strategies. Of course, when building any deck, players should think about the strategy they want to use, as simply having a great card will mean very little if it doesn't match the style of play incorporated.

THQ Nordic has announced Disney Epic Mickey Rebrushed, coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this year.

Of the many announcements during the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, a remake of Disney Epic Mickey was perhaps the least expected. The Epic Games Store will be coming to iOS in Europe thanks to provisions in the European Union (EU)'s Digital Markets Act (DMA). 

The Epic Games Store officially turned 5 years old in December, and while some of the fiery debate surrounding the storefront has died down, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a success yet.
