A Disney Dreamlight Valley player has used the game's extensive design tools to create a house that honors the story of the first Chronicles of Narnia book, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. The life simulation and adventure game from Gameloft finally saw its official release at the end of last year after a period in early access. Since then, news fans, as well as those who joined while the title was still under construction, have been exploring the expanded world and checking out all the possibilities of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Dreamlight Valley certainly offers lots of things for gamers to do in its charming world full of classic Disney characters. From exploration and collecting to crafting and building, fans can easily keep themselves busy. Of course, for many players, the best part of the experience is staying inside their in-game home and decorating it to their precise tastes. These decoration features, with a Disney-twist, are a big draw of the title and help make Disney Dreamlight Valley one of the coziest games on modern platforms. Now, one player has taken advantage of these mechanics to honor a different story.
On Reddit, a gamer going by Little-Barnacle-4380 has shared a short video tour of the home they designed in Dreamlight Valley that's based on The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. The house features rooms based around scenes from the book and its movie adaptations, including first stepping into the world of Narnia to meet the faun, Mr. Tumnus, Aslan's sacrifice, and the crowning of the four children as kings and queens. To complete the scenes, Little-Barnacle-4380 makes excellent use of Dreamlight Valley's custom mannequin outfits as well as decorations that appear to be based on the Frozen movies.
Appropriately, to get to the Narnia part of the house, it's necessary to duck behind a large wardrobe. While there's no way in the game to actually go through it, having it cover the entrance to the area still honors the story and adds more charm to the overall design. Based on responses to the post, lots of Dreamlight Valley fans certainly feel this way, with many heaping praise on the design and asking for tips on how to create something similar.
This isn't the first player home to celebrate something outside of the Disney characters and stories of the game. Recently, a Dreamlight Valley player designed a tribute to Queen in their home with amazing results. This latest creation, however, may be the first reference to The Chronicles of Narnia in the game.
With talk of a Netflix reboot of The Chronicles of Narnia in the works, fans may soon be seeing lots of references to the classic C.S. Lewis work. For now, though, it seems Little-Barnacle-4380 has managed to get the drop on everyone

There’s a reason why fans are mostly excited about the full unveiling of EA Sports College Football 25.
