Disney Dreamlight Valley has shared the patch notes for The Laugh Floor update, which will add content based on Monsters Inc. to the game. In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players spend time on tasks such as cooking, gardening, and creating their village while making friends with Disney and Pixar characters. Players also venture out on different quests, such as those to find out more about The Forgotten, who is responsible for erasing the Villagers' memories.
Released in 2022 in Early Access by Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley has been supported ever since with frequent updates. One of the highlights was the introduction of A Rift in Time, the first Disney Dreamlight Valley paid expansion that arrived last year with a new world, biomes, and characters like Jaffar from Aladdin, and Rapunzel from Tangled. To celebrate the arrival of the new year, Disney Dreamlight Valley reveals what to expect from its next update, which includes content based on a major movie hit.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has revealed the patch notes for the first update of the year, The Laugh Floor, which will bring content from the movie Monsters Inc. to players. The game will introduce a new Realm for players to explore while experiencing the life of Monsters Inc. Mike Wazowski and Sulley, the titular duo from Monsters Inc., will be added to the game with each character having their own Friendship Quests and rewards to unlock. The Laugh Floor update will give away two free items: The Partners statue, and the Dreamlight Armor outfit, which will be available in players' mailboxes. Confirming a previous Disney Dreamlight Valley teaser, the update brings the Lovely Monsters Star Path with a new range of rewards for players to grab.
Along with the Monsters Inc. content, The Laugh Floor update will expand Scrooge's Shop, the Disney Dreamlight Valley store operated by Scrooge McDuck, offering a wider variety of items for players to buy. A slew of quest bug fixes are also coming, such as Flying Metal Nuisance, in which sandstone can block the player's path. Disney Dreamlight Valley will receive additional bug fixes, such as the inability to claim DreamSnaps rewards, localization fixes, and general improvements.
Gameloft ended 2023 by bringing Disney Dreamlight Valley players a big update that marked the debut of Jack Skellington. This year will be no different, and Disney Dreamlight Valley has some big releases in store for players, starting with the Monsters Inc. update. Later this year, Disney Dreamlight Valley will add Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, a new Realm possibly themed around Mulan, and a new Villager.

The studio behind unexpectedly decent Mickey Mouse life sim Disney Dreamlight Valley are venturing into another fantasy land where anthropomorphic animals adventure with human chums, the Forgotten Realms setting of Dungeons & Dungeons. Today Gameloft announced they're making a D&D game offering a "hybrid of survival, life simulation and action RPG". They don't have much more to share about the game, not even a name, so presumably it won't be out for some time. Whatever it might be, it's headed to PC and consoles.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has finally done one of the best things they could do for their players – bring back old Star Path items. These Star Paths allow players to have something to work toward every month, to unlock the items that are offered in it, like a battle pass. However, sometimes, not all players either unlock everything in time before it runs out or don’t spend the money each month. Now, no matter the reason, players can purchase old items through the Premium Shop.
Bungie releases update 7.3.5.1 for Destiny 2, which fixes a number of issues related to the Crucible, the new Skimmer vehicle, as well as the Aurora Sacrifice armor ornament. Unfortunately for players, yesterday wasn't the smoothest during the weekly Destiny 2 reset. While the reset is set to refresh the rewards, challenges, and weekly activities, yesterday's deployment hit more than a few snags, resulting in extended downtime and maintenance on the servers which were taken offline, preventing players from logging in for a bit longer than usual.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has officially started their first newsletter, which isn’t surprising considering how fast the growth of this video game has taken off. The game started off in early access a few years back and has now branched out enough to even offer DLC and other content that is paid.
