Blizzard has revealed the official patch notes for Diablo 4 update 1.3.4. The upcoming release will introduce over two dozen changes to the game, most of which will arrive in the form of Diablo 4 bug fixes.
Blizzard has treated its hit action RPG to over 30 patches since Diablo 4 entered early access in June 2023. The 1.3.4 update will be the game's 34th such release to date. The patch is scheduled to roll out on Tuesday, March 12.
In the meantime, the developer has already shared the update's full patch notes ahead of its launch, keeping in line with its typical practices. The new changelog contains 29 items in total, the vast majority of which are bug fixes. Half a dozen of those are specifically targeted at the Diablo 4 Season of the Construct, which kicked off on January 23. The robotic companion Seneschal introduced in Season 3 is going to benefit from multiple fixes, including one that allows players to use the Sacrificial Glyph while having it in their party. Namely, the latest version of the game still marks Seneschal as a minion instead of a pet, rendering this skill which requires an empty party unusable.
As previously noted by multiple players, the process of upgrading Seneschal in Diablo 4 is also not problem-free, on account of the descriptions for the next rank of its Burning Support ability being inaccurate. The 1.3.4 update will address this issue as well. Other problems pertaining to the pet that will be handled by the forthcoming patch include the Protect ability's barrier not triggering the Conceited Aspect damage bonus and Seneschal Stone Caches being uncraftable with a max-level Duration Support stone.
Some visual fixes will also be part of the package, including one that resolves an issue causing the Meteor animation not to match the ability's damage radius. Likewise, Rogue's Volley arrows should no longer turn invisible following update 1.3.4. The upcoming patch is also set to introduce a bunch of improvements to the Diablo 4 accessibility features, specifically its Screen Reader functionality. Among other things, the reader will no longer ignore the View button after opening the Trials interface, and will correctly vocalize the contents of various drop-down menus.
Blizzard hasn't announced a specific time for the release of the 1.3.4 patch. However, most of the game's past updates rolled out around 10am PT / 1pm ET / 7pm CET, so that might be the case this time around as well. As per usual, the March 12 update will encompass both the PC and console versions of Diablo 4.
