Endless Ocean is coming to Nintendo Switch with support for 30-players

In the seven years since its release, the Nintendo Switch has become a beloved piece of hardware. Not only is it Nintendo’s best-selling console, it’s one of the most popular consoles of all time. It’s also the console that boosted Nintendo’s reputation after the poor reception of Wii U. In 2021, former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé, looking back on the Switch, said it was a “make or break” console for Nintendo.

The development of the Yuzu was permanently halted, but the popular Nintendo Switch emulator will continue to live on thanks to multiple projects that were recently launched.

The Nvidia GeForce Now library has expanded to encompass a handful of high-profile Activision Blizzard games, including Diablo 4 and multiple recent Call of Duty entries. These additions are just the tip of the streaming platform's late winter content iceberg, with GeForce NOW already confirming nearly two dozen new arrivals for March 2024.

It’s crazy to think that the Nintendo Switch has been around for seven years now, but it’s the truth. Like it or not, we’ll have to start preparing to say goodbye to the beloved console as murmurings of a Nintendo Switch 2 begin circulating.

Released in 2017, Nintendo Switch is still as popular today as it was years ago. The hybrid handheld console has seen dozens of high-profile game throughout its lifespan, and it shows no signs of slowing down. Today's Nintendo Partner Direct included something I don't think any of us had on our bingo cards: a Switch comeback for the cult classic Wii diving series Endless Ocean.

During Nintendo's Direct Partner Showcase, the company revealed that Endless Ocean: Luminous will be releasing on Switch later this year. The game is a sequel to 2010's Endless Ocean: Blue World, which was published by Nintendo and released for the Wii.

Publisher Nintendo and developer ARIKA have announced Endless Ocean Luminous for Switch.

A new entry in the Endless Ocean series, Endless Ocean Luminous, was revealed at the February Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. It will be available on Nintendo Switch on May 2, 2024.

Nintendo Switch owners who are looking for their next game to play may want to consider the already popular Super Mario Bros. Wonder, especially now that it’s on sale from Amazon at 13% off.
