Nintendo fans can dive into Endless Ocean Luminous this spring

While Mario has become the face of Nintendo, and perhaps video games as a whole, it’s important to remember that it was in a Donkey Kong game that he really became an icon. Since then, our beloved ape has bounced between being friend and foe of the plumber, as well as broken free to star in his own series of games with an expanded cast of friends and enemies. It’s been a long time since we’ve been graced with one of his banana-fueled adventures, so we decided this was as good a time as any to look back at Dinkey Kong’s legacy and decide which of his many solo efforts stand as the best.

Fans of RPGs have been eating well since the beginning of 2024. In fact, there have been more amazing games in this genre alone than most people could reasonably keep up with. As much as I love a deep RPG, even I have to admit I’ve been feeling a little burnt out after my third or fourth 100-hour adventure. Before we get hit with Unicorn Overlord, Rise of the Ronin, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 this month alone, I felt the need for something different to cleanse my palate.

The last thing you want to see when loading up Fortnite for a match with your friends, especially when a big new update is dropping, is to be hit with an error. The worst of which might be the “Fortnite servers not responding” error due to how vague it is. Most people don’t know what servers are, let alone what it means when they aren’t responding, except that you can’t play your game. The question then becomes if you have any power to solve this issue yourself or if you’re forced to wait until Epic Games addresses it on its end.

After breaking out of the confined spaces of Midgar in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, a lot of new opportunities and mechanics have been introduced. Along with some standard open-world activities, collecting tons of resources as you travel will be a constant. Icons for all sorts of rocks, plants, and beast parts are needed to transmute new items. Zinc Ore is no different, but it is required for some great accessories you probably want to make early. We’re not saying any of the Terminids in Helldivers 2 are appealing to look at, but the Bile Spewers are disgusting even in comparison to others like the Charger. They’re big, they glow green, and they vomit their deadly acid on you from surprising ranges. These enemy types tend to be easy pickings in other games, but this time around, they’re one of the most deadly. Not only can their acid kill you outright if you take a full mouthful, but the Spewer itself isn’t a pushover in terms of health. Like any bug, it isn’t invincible and there are some tactics we have to share to help you squish this one the next time it shows up.

While the majority of your success lies in which weapons and armor you carry when facing off against the Terminids and Automatons on various missions in Helldivers 2, you shouldn’t overlook what your ship can do to support you. If you’re unprepared, you might enter something that you end up wishing you could change, but there isn’t an obvious way to edit your choice after it’s been made. In other games, you might need to spend some currency like Warbonds or Super Credits to alter something like this, but that’s not the case here. Once you know the trick, you can alter your ship’s name whenever you wish.
