Nintendo has officially confirmed they are making a second Super Mario Bros. Movie with Illumination Studios.

Nintendo and Illumination have announced a new animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. following The Super Mario Bros. Movie. It will launch on April 3, 2026 in the United States nd many additional markets globally, with select territories releasing throughout the month of April.
