EA and Bioware are reportedly confident that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be released this year.
That’s according to Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb, speaking on the Game Mess Decides podcast with co-host Mike Minotti.
“I suspect (Dragon Age: Dreadwolf) will probably pop up in the summer,” Grubb claimed. “I don’t know when it’ll be shown, but I assume it’ll be shown sometime this summer.”
On the potential release window for the game, Grubb said, “It will be released this year, last I heard. [EA] are pretty confident about that. That doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee; it could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year.”
A “full reveal” of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is scheduled for the summer, according to EA.
Last October, BioWare general manager Gary McKay said that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf had reached alpha status and was playable “from the opening scenes of the first mission to the very end”.
He went on to explain that the team was focused on the game’s pacing, the various relationships that players will have with other characters, as well as “narrative cohesion”.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf gameplay leaked online in February, offering the first look at the RPG sequel in action.
BioWare said in August that it was laying off “approximately” 50 employees as part of a shift to becoming “a more agile and more focused studio”.

Shadows of the Damned, the unexpected collaboration between No More Heroes, Killer7 and Lollipop Chainsaw creator Goichi ‘Suda51’ Suda and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami, will finally see a PC release with a new remake later this year - over a decade after it first hit consoles.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is going to be a nightmare for completionists.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is fast approaching its release date, but that hasn't stopped a Dragon Age fan from recreating Cassandra Pentaghast using the game's powerful character creation tools. Though its predecessor was also famous for having a good character creation system, Dragon's Dogma 2 appears to have taken the concept to another level entirely. The accuracy and level of fidelity that fans have been able to recreate popular characters from other IPs has been nothing short of astounding, which has arguably been a major contributor to Capcom's marketing campaign for Dragon's Dogma 2.
A modder has claimed that Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection has used some of his work without permission.

2K officially announced in January that the TopSpin series would be returning after its long hiatus with Mafia 3 developer Hangar 13’s TopSpin 2K25. Now, following that initial teaser announcement, the game has been fully unveiled. Check out its reveal trailer below.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be picking up the mantle from the first game and putting time limits on some side quests. This is a feature that’s not often seen in gaming today but was fairly common in the past, and it may result in some people doing multiple playthroughs of Dragon’s Dogma 2 just to be able to experience most, if not all, of the quests.
