The variety that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is promising with the ten Vocations that it will allow players to play as has looked like one of its biggest selling points in the lead-up to its release (not unlike its predecessor), and Capcom’s marketing team has certainly been trying its best to hammer that point home. Multiple trailers over the last couple of weeks have shone the spotlight on a variety of Vocations, and Capcom has now released another one of those.
This time, its the Mystic Spearhand’s time to shine. A new hybrid Advanced Vocation, the Mystic Spearhand will come equipped with a new weapon called the Duospear – essentially a spear with two pointy ends – in addition to also being able to use magical attacks and abilities (hence the “hybrid” part).
In particular, the Vocation’s magical abilities will be focused on paralyzing foes and hurling levitating objects at them (including corpses of your own making. Like all hybrid Vocations, Mystic Spearhand will be usable only by Arisen, which means Pawns can’t equip this class.
Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of what to expect from the Vocation.
With previous trailers, Capcom has also showcased the Warrior, Archer, Sorcerer, Fighter, Thief, and Magick Archer Vocations.
