During the Q&A session of the publisher's Q3 FY2023 financial results conference call, CAPCOM was asked about the pricing policy for the next fiscal year. The second entry in the series created by Hideaki Itsuno will be the publisher's first $70 game, but it may not be the last, as industry-wide development costs are increasing, and a price review is being considered as one of the options to offset these costs. Ultimately, the publisher aims to take a thoughtful approach to pricing, keeping user feedback in mind as well.
Speaking about Dragon's Dogma 2, which is CAPCOM's next big title, the publisher did not disclose its sales expectations but still said they consider it to be in the million-selling class, which is kind of a given, considering how the first entry in the series continued to sell well even years after its release.
