Destiny 2 Reveals Ghostbusters Crossover Items

Responding to fan feedback over the slow rollout of all 12 Brave Weapons for Destiny 2 Into the Light, Bungie announces changes to its release plan and a few other gameplay related tweaks. As Season of the Wish rolls on, all eyes have turned to a unique new event coming to Destiny 2 called Into The Light. Over the past couple of weeks, Bungie has given fans a good look at what they can expect from this event once it launches on April 9.

Arrowhead Game Studios warnsHelldivers 2 players to stop throwing snowballs during matches as using the items can cause the game to crash. The co-op shooter continues to be a massively popular title, thanks in large part to the ever evolving galactic war. Through major orders from the game master known as Joel, players are dynamically altering the Helldivers 2 battlefield, pushing back enemy factions or sometimes losing planets as well.

Some enemies in Honkai: Star Rail will reportedly have multiple layers of Toughness, as stated by a prominent leaker. Honkai: Star Rail has a combat mechanic that requires players to deplete the enemy's Toughness bar, which is displayed above its HP bar, to trigger the Break Effect. When this bar is fully exhausted, the enemy enters the Broken state, and players can utilize its elemental weakness to deliver a massive amount of damage.

PS Plus has confirmed the new Essential games for April 2024, which include Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, andSkul: The Hero Slayer. It's worth noting that it's one less game than the PS Plus free games for March 2024, but that's because March was the exception, not the rule.

Shift Up’s free demo for Stellar Blade goes live on March 29th, but in the meantime, various publications like Game Informer received early access and showcased some fresh gameplay. If you’re one of the few who didn’t try the demo when it accidentally went live early, it showcases the initial portions of the game as Eve battles through various Naytiba.

Bungie has revealed more about its upcoming Destiny 2 limited-time event, Into the Light, showing off a series of classic weapons returning to the game. The weapons will be available after Into the Light launches in Destiny 2 on April 9, 2024.

Back in 2020, the PS5 launched with a number of notable improvements over its predecessor both in terms of its hardware capabilities and the software features it offered right out the gate- but not all of them were big hits. Game Help, a feature that allows players to view clips of gameplay from game developers to help get past in-game roadblocks, hasn’t exactly taken off since the PS5 launched, though Sony is set to introduce some improvements to it soon.

Final Fantasy 14 just revealed the Final Fantasy 16 crossover event will begin on April 2, and will be available until May 8. Players will have just over a month to experience the collaboration event in Final Fantasy 14, and score some exclusive collectible items in the process.

Rocksteady reveals the full Season 1 patch notes for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, along with a look at all of the new weapons, maps, activities, and other content launching on March 28. It's been a fairly tough road for the game following it's launch in early February. Warner Bros has previously confirmed that Suicide Squad: KIll the Justice League has failed to live up to sales expectations, leaving most to wonder how and even if Rocksteady can turn the game around.

A new trailer for has been revealed, alongside a release window. Skydance New Media originally announced the helmed Black Panther & Captain America game, which is helmed by and writer and director Amy Hennig, during the September 9, 2022, Disney & Marvel Games Showcase without a title.

It isn’t really clear who the Ghostbusters franchise is for anymore. In Jason Reitman’s 2021 sequel/reboot, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, it seemed like the series had a clear trajectory, and that he was aiming at finally making it the kids’ franchise that Halloween costume companies always dreamed it could be. But the latest entry, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, clings so tightly to the franchise’s past that it’s hard to see how it could appeal to anyone at all.

From layoffs and a delay to Destiny 2’s The Final Shape to a new Marathon director and the rumored cancellation of Matter, Bungie is in a fair amount of turmoil these days. The developer delayed The Final Shape to allow more time for polish amid reports of pre-orders tracking below expectations.
