The PlayStation Portal streaming handheld has quickly become a contentious little device. At first glance, it looks the part of a PSP or Vita successor. The streaming device’s official name is the PlayStation Portal, and it is set to launch this year with a $199.99 price tag.

Sony has revealed that the official name of the PS5 Project Q is the PlayStation Portal. The company has also claimed it is the «first Remote Play dedicated device», and confirmed it will launch later this year.
