Dark and Darker’s twisty road to launch on PC is back on after legal filings by Nexon and an injunction were dismissed. The game now has an Epic Games Store page as the team prepares to bring the game to “a wider audience”.
Making the announcement on the game’s Discord, the Ironmace team said: “With increased confidence in the quality of our game, we have started preparations on introducing Dark and Darker to a wider audience. As a first step, we are happy to announce the launch of the Dark and Darker store page on the Epic Games Store”.
The game’s page is indeed live, though as an early step for the hardcore dungeon PvPvE adventure title, there is no release window listed just yet. The game remains in Early Access, where it began back in August, as the team released it independently. Ironmace has continued development as the legal issues played out. the lawsuit from Nexon was dismissed back in late August, but the team had already released their own Early Access build and continued to support that in the following months.
There’s no word on whether Ironmace will work to get the game back on Steam, where it was getting attention before being pulled thanks to the legal filings. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if that’s next, but since they have said they’ve started preparations to bring the game to a wider audience.
“We will continue working with various partners to give our fans the best options and properly grow the community to foster a long and healthy game” they added, before thanking the community.
There’s also a mobile version of Dark and Darker in development, as announced last fall at G-Star in Korea. That is under development by Krafton and Bluehole under license from Ironmace.
Looks like things on the PC version are going to keep ramping up for Darker and Darker.

These are The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Thief.

This means Epic Games Store users can no longer claim Call of the Wild: The Angler or Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, but they can claim Islets until April 4.
