Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Launches December 5th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC

Cyberpunk 2077 studio CD Projekt Red very cheekily congratulated Hello Games on the reveal of its ambitious new fantasy game Light no Fire at The Game Awards 2023, seemingly joking about the two studios' respective controversies and eventual redemption arcs.

Red Barrels’ The Outlast Trials received a spooky new trailer at The Game Awards, highlighting some impressions from players throughout early access. The co-op survival horror also received a launch date of March 5th, 2024, and will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC.

The Xbox Series version of Baldur’s Gate III is now available via Microsoft Store for $69.99, developer Larian Studios announced.

Publisher FEllow Traveller and developer Feral Cat Den have announced Nirvana Noir, a noir adventure game beyond time and space, and sequel to Genesis Noir. It will be available for Xbox Series and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and other stores. A release date was not announced.

Publisher Secret Mode and developer Billy Goat Entertainment have released a limited-time demo for “extreme bike courier simulator” Parcel Corps for Xbox Series via Microsoft Store. It will be available until December 31.

Sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is an ambitious game with history as up-and-down as its prickly protagonist's mood. The game deflated expectations almost immediately after launch in 2020, disappointing would-be fans with its glitches and fiddly combat. Putting a bow on its comeback arc, developer CD Projekt Red recently released its Phantom Liberty expansion and update 2.0. Now, the game feels deserving of its pre-launch hype, and its unexpected new patch 2.1 happily continues this trend.  

Star Wars: The Old Republic's next major update, Chains in the Dark, is slated to launch on December 5th, EA and Broadsword announced today.

Following its PC launch on October 19, Western-inspired “motorvania” game Laika: Aged Through Blood will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on December 5, followed by Switch on January 11, 2024, publisher Headup Games and developer Brainwash Gang announced.

Metroidvania game Elderand is now available for Xbox Series and Xbox One via Microsoft Store at a two-week launch discount price of $15.99, publisher Graffiti Games and developers Mantra and Sinergia Games announced. After two weeks, it will cost $19.99.
