Cyberpunk 2077 has a new update, and it's available to download now on PS5. Patch 2.12 has dropped with almost no warning, but that's probably because it's a fairly minor release. Its most important alterations are to do with PC-specific issues, but there are still a handful of fixes that apply to PS5 players.
Most notably, the update squashes a rather nasty little bug that was preventing some users from accessing various menus. From what we understand, this problem could be circumvented by rebooting the game, but it could potentially stop you from performing a manual save, and so you'd lose progress.
Might you be dipping into Cyberpunk 2077 any time soon? Perhaps this patch addresses a problem you've been having? Book a trip to Night City in the comments section below.
Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
I take it CDPR have no intention of adding NG+? Guess they would have done it by now.
Is this site from somewhere outside of the U.S? Cheeky? What does that mean? Cheeky patch?
New game plus would be awesome
@Defcon5 this site is aboriginal. In their language another aggressive or potentially dangerous patch which is fairly frickin’ apt with this lot
@SystemAddict I appreciate the clarification man!
New game plus and fix the Judy glitch that she is not calling me.
I love cyberpunk
FSR fix would be nice but I don't see them doing much about that now. At least it is not as bad as it is on Xbox.
@Lenny0521 @Nightcrawler71 They've stated numerous times they're not going to add NG+...besides, what do you expect?
If you want it easier just select that option starting a new game, you're basically asking to cheat by getting progress/loot before earning it, which would bug/block many story elements.
If that's what you're after just go on and mod the game with as many cheats as you need, get a trainer app, hell give yourself all MAX stats beyond what's capable in game and gift yourself all the items you didn't find.
I'd settle for being able to replay/reset missions in current game save.
NG+ is overrated feature request, just as 3rd person, that's not what this game was made for and defeats narrative purposes of most the story.
@A2theC Thanks for your reply. I have already finished the game and the Phantom Liberty DLC, both on the default difficulty. I was just hoping for a reason to play through again preferably with all my weapons, cyberware, skills etc.
@Defcon5 Yes, they are based in the UK: https://hookshot.media/

@OptimusPrime1 Okay,

Night City is looking for new residents — even if they’re only temporary ones who happen to be in the neighborhood for a few hours. CD Projekt Red is offering PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players the chance to check out Cyberpunk 2077 for free over the Easter weekend.

The latest update for may not fundamentally alter any aspects of the game but it is frustrating for certain players who prefer experiencing the narrative with the help of some third-party add-ons. Ever since CD Projekt Red released the highly-anticipated RPG in 2020 the studio has actively pushed out patches to fix what was widely considered to be an unfinished product due to the number of bugs and glitches that plagued the project. The most recent hotfix solves one very common issue but at the cost of installed mods.
Revolutionary RPG Baldur's Gate 3 was a monstrous surpise last year, seemingly coming out of nowhere to contend with the industry's heavy hitters. If you're anything like us, you might still be playing, testing the boundaries of this intricate game. For those super fans who don't need any more convincing, developer Larian Studios has revealed that the game's gorgeous PS5 Deluxe Edition will begin shipping in late April, provided there are no last-minute hiccups.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty takes players to Dogtown for the first time, a brutal, lawless location even compared to Night City at its worst. Having been walled off from the rest of Night City, with zero semblance of rules or law enforcement, it's a pretty tough place to live and traverse, and CD Projekt Red recently went in-depth into the area's creation and inspirations.
Today's the day for a big PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium update, with the March 2024 refresh bringing 13 PS5, PS4, and Classic titles to active subscribers. UK and European members can get downloading and playing all the new games now, and those in the USA will gain access later in the day. If you need a reminder of what's on offer this month, here's a complete list:
We now officially know Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse’s upcoming urban gacha Zenless Zone Zero is coming to PS5, but the title’s third – and, presumably, final – closed beta test will not be available on Sony’s system. Announced earlier today, sign-ups for the sampler are available for PC and mobile through here.
Sony may have revised its PS5 sales estimate for the current financial year, which will end on 31st March. But unsurprisingly it still wants to sell as many systems as possible, which means it’s going to make one last push for that all-important 21 million units target it’s been eyeing. And how does it intend to do that? One last round of price promotions.
