A stunning digital tribute to outgoing PlayStation bigwig Jim Ryan is now available for those who wish to celebrate the suit's legacy — in style. Players can pick up the collectable, posed like a modern-day Napoleon, through the digital platform PlayStation Stars; all you have to do is play a game Ryan «championed» during his tenure.
Eligible games run the gamut from The Last of Us: Part II, God of War Ragnarok, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and somewhat ominously, Destiny 2. Ryan will be remembered for many things, but his $3.6 billion acquisition of developer Bungie is a legacy his successor will no doubt be grappling with for many years to come. The Jim Ryan Bobblehead's description proclaims: «Help us celebrate Jim Ryan's 30 years at PlayStation by playing any of the many impressive games he championed as CEO and get a special Digital Collectible. Happy retirement, Jim!»
A man who believed in generations, Ryan managed to salvage the launch of the PS5 despite the unforeseen challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan was awarded a «one-of-a-kind» PS1-themed PS5 at his Tokyo leaving party. He later announced company-wide layoffs, cutting reasonably close to the bone in some cases. Ryan wraps up a 30-year career with PlayStation in just a few days, with Sony Group Corporation President, COO and CFO Hiroki Totoki taking the reigns until a permanent successor is chosen.

This is hilarious!
This is how it’d like to be remembered by PlayStation after my Cheeto induced heart attack
#fortheplayers.
I'm of such mixed mind as to if I do not want to collect the bobblehead's bobblehead, or if I do so that I can later use it for unspecified YouTube applications.
It does feel fitting that the PS5 should include his mug grinning along with the dreary dirge the home screen plays. Might have to claim it.
Can I get a Don Matrick to go with it? Side by side in a depth of video game hell even Nolan Bushnell couldn't do.
6 DAYS UNTIL PLAYSTATION IS LIBERATED!
Edit: I kind of can't believe Sony is actually commemorating him though. At least they could have made the bobblehead in the Kiryu money briefcase
