Ask anyone that has a PSVR2 and they’ll likely tell you that the tech is great, but the library is lacking. For those out of the know, Arizona Sunshine is a VR zombie shooter that launched back in 2016 on the PSVR. Featuring a sun-bleached post-apocalypse, a Zombieland irreverence, and a penchant for over-the-top gore, it quickly accumulated a cult following. Fans of the first game will be glad to know that seven years and a whole VR generation later, all the hallmarks of Arizona Sunshine are present in its sequel — along with some massive improvements.

Blizzard has dropped the details on update 1.2.0 for Diablo 4, which is set to release next week, on the 17th October. All in all, this is looking like another step in the right direction, with a slew of positive changes coming to itemisation, character builds, and the structure of endgame content.

Bandai Namco has tapped into the hype surrounding the second season of Spy X Family, releasing the first full gameplay trailer for its upcoming PS5 and PS4 adaptation, Spy x Anya: Operation Memories. Monster Hunter Now released the new event schedule via the in-app notifications. The events have also been announced on the Monster Hunter Now social media accounts as well as the game’s website. So far, three separate events have been announced for October 2023: Tobi-Kadachi Weekend, Pink Rathian Week, and the Halloween Pumpkin Hunt.

October has rolled in, and along with it, new Monster Hunter Now events. So what’s in store? Well, you won’t be shocked to hear that there’s a Halloween event on the cards, but before that there’s a pretty vibrant surprise.

Monster Hunter Now gives you the chance to explore your local neighborhood and track down some of the most dangerous monsters that have appeared throughout the Monster Hunter franchise. Alongside your daily hunts, there are going to be multiple events happening throughout October 2023 that you can participate in by yourself or with your friends.

Delightfully destructive indie title Teardown has been given a 15th November release date on PS5, alongside confirmation that it'll be available through PS Plus Extra (and PS Plus Premium) from day one. It's the latest in a series of games to join Sony's second-tier subscription service at launch. Previously, indie RPG Sea of Stars made the jump, and seemingly proved to be a hit with players.
