Batman: Arkham Trilogy gets a release date for Nintendo Switch

After initially delaying it past July, Forever Entertainment’s Front Mission 2: Remake has a new release date. It’s out on October 5th for Nintendo Switch, retailing for $34.99 on the Nintendo eShop. Check out the latest trailer below.

Earlier this Summer, we all received a rather pleasant surprise at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase with the reveal of Jusant, a “meditative action-puzzle climbing game” looked like a rather unique game to highlight at the show. The demo available afterwards surprised us even further with how well the game was coming along so far, expertly marrying together exciting climbing action and effective visual storytelling, as our own Jordan Helm noted in their look at it. Now Gamescom attendees get to experience more hands-on time with Jusant at the event, and with the game’s showcase now comes news of an October release date, meaning we’ll get to see the entire tower climb in just a couple of months.

GuliKit, the company best known for making Hall Effect joysticks for the Nintendo Switch, announced some new products at gamescom 2023. Most notably, a new docking station that works with the Nintendo Switch and handheld PCs like the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally.

Thunderful has announced that its city-building game SteamWorld Build will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on December 1. The announcement was made alongside the release of a new trailer, which you can check out below.

Publisher Playstack and developer 2Awesome have revealed that AK-xolotl will hit consoles and Switch this September. More specifically, the top-down roguelike shooter about a cute but deadly-with-a-gun axolotl will hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on September 14. 

Indie developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games will be releasing their co-op survival crafting title, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, on Oct. 24 on PlayStation 5 digitally and Windows PC via Epic Games Store, IGN can exclusively reveal today.

Out of the numerous open-world survival crafting games either already out or in the works, Inflexion Games’ Nightingale seems to be one that’s somehow pretty prominent, yet still feels like it flies under the radar at times. So it was to see the game appear during Gamescom Opening Night Live, with the news of an Early Access release date. The date was announced via a new trailer that you can check out below, which also showcases a lot of new gameplay elements as well.

Developer Sad Cat Studios have delayed their debut cyberpunk platformer Replaced into 2024, because they “can’t afford to release a sub-par game.” The Belarusian-based studio previously pushed the game from 2022 into 2023 due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, but based on its moody retrofuturist trailers I’m happy to wait until every pixel is perfectly positioned, as long as the teams are staying safe.

After an ESRB listing emerged for the same, Konami has officially confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is coming to PS4. Unlike the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch versions, which release in October, its release date is still “to be determined.” Details for the same, along with the price, will be revealed later.

Road trip-inspired survival game Pacific Drive has hit a roadblock and is now expected to release next year.

Rocksteady has announced the release date for the Switch version of its Batman: Arkham Trilogy, out 13th October.
