Somehow I missed this until just now, but Larian Studios has put up a Baldur's Gate 3 advent calendar, with prizes and an epic Christmas-themed poem being doled out daily until December 24.

Baldur's Gate 3's fifth patch will be out "soon", but Larian Studios is already issuing warnings for our poor, worn, and tattered storage. Best clear some space, gamers. It's a massive 30GB update, meaning you'll need around 130GB of free space to install it.
If you find yourself without the space to install the update, we recommend uninstalling Baldur's Gate 3 and then re-downloading the patched version.
It's a beefy patch, but we still don't know everything that will be included in those 30 gigabytes. So far, Larian has confirmed that it will fix some major lag issues and Astarion's kisses, and it has teased an extended epilogue with an invite from Withers. The ending right now is shockingly fast - you beat the game, say goodbye, and off you pop. It looks like that's about to change, with all of our (living) friends invited. Does that exclude Astarion? I guess we'll find out "soon".
It's more than likely at this point that a big chunk of the update, hence its size, is thanks to this teased epilogue. However, what exactly it will look like isn't clear. Last month, fans were asking Larian for one more party before the game ends to let them say goodbye to all of their favourites with final romance scenes to get closure before risking it all against the Absolute and plunging into the unknown. It might be that we see something similar to this idea after the game ends, instead.
Others are hoping for NG+, fixed Shadowheart kissing angles, more Minthara content, an extended Karlach quest, and all the other wishlist items we've seen since the game launched in August. Who knows what's in there? Until Larian reveals the details, we can only speculate, but don't get your hopes up too much. I know a lot of you want to be crushed by Minthara, but crushed dreams... Let's avoid that, eh?
Larian said that the update will go live this week, and now we know that it's coming "soon". The wait shouldn't be too long then. In the meantime, go smooch Astarion or whoever at your camp before you have to switch off and wait for the patch to finish downloading.

is full of important decisions to make, and meeting Auntie Ethel offers a few interesting choices and branching paths. This trader can be found in the Emerald Grove in Act 1, hawking her wares to tieflings. She may seem like any other trader in the game, but Auntie Ethel is more than she appears. The party will need to use caution when striking a deal with Auntie Ethel, if they don't want to avoid her offer entirely.
The Resonance Stone is a strange, spider-like object available in. It is a round, purple stone on a pedestal with pointed legs and a dragon's face. The Resonance Stone improves the mood of all characters within a 9-meter/30 feet radius. Specifically, they get the Steeped in Bliss status, which has both boons and consequences.
The NASA James Webb Space Telescope has unmatched capabilities of capturing deep space beyond our galaxy going as far back as almost to the point of the Big Bang event event. Now, a new study by the eXtreme Ultraviolet Environments (XUE) program revealed observations about water and other molecules being present in the regions where rocky planets form and that too under extreme environmental conditions. This study has stunned researchers as it challenges the previous theories about where rocky planets develop. Know more about the James Webb Space Telescope findings here.
Larian Studios wasn't messing around when they said there was a lot coming with Baldur's Gate Patch #5. The latest update is a 30GB doozie packed with tons of fixes and features., so much so that simply calling it «Patch #5» feels like a disservice to how massive the update really is.
Patch 5 delivers another batch of changes to the hit RPG, further expanding and improving an experience that has only continued to grow since its official release in August. As with the other major patches for the game, Patch 5 is a mix of everything from minor bug fixes to major additions, with the latter category receiving an arguably bigger boost now than ever before. It also takes up a whopping 30 GB of space, so it might be necessary to clear out some files before taking advantage of everything new.
Larian Studios has released Baldur’s Gate III Patch 5, which adds new game modes, new epilogues, and more.
The patch is «only» 30GB but requires 130GB to properly install.
Larian Studios’ latest patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 is rolling out, and it’s massive. According to IGN, Patch 5 adds a new playable Epilogue, which becomes available to all players with save data before the final boss. It occurs six months after the story in camp, where you meet “new friends and old, taking all the time they need to say their final goodbyes to the party.”
Patch 5 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming soon, with Larian Studios hyping some of the changes it will include, like a fix for late-game slowdowns, performance improvements and a potential new Epilogue feature. On Twitter, the developer confirmed that the update is roughly 30 GB, but the real kicker is that it needs “approximately” 130 GB to install.
Larian has issued a warning to Baldur’s Gate 3 players ahead of today’s release of Patch 5: you’re going to need to clear a fair bit of space.
