Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian has revealed the current roadmap for updates to the game, including a patch that makes over 1,000 fixes and tweaks.
Larian boss Swen Vincke tweeted to say the studio’s current focus is fixing issues reported by players, and insisted it is listening to suggestions.
The current roadmap for Baldur’s Gate 3 includes a fourth hotfix, Patch 1, which includes over 1,000 fixes and tweaks, and Patch 2. The latter, Vincke said, will already incorporate “some requests”.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has enjoyed a massive launch, and quickly became one of the biggest games on Steam ever. Players and critics have praised the freedom of choice on offer in the sprawling Dungeons & Dragons-themed role-playing game, and how well things run generally. But some have encountered bugs particularly later in the game during Act 3. Some have even reported they’re unable to finish Act 3 because of bugs. Larian will be keen to address these issues as more and more players make their way towards the end of their first Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough.
One feature players are hoping Larian adds to Baldur’s Gate 3 is the ability to change a character’s appearance. The developer recently said this was in the works.

Cooperative survival game The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will launch digitally for PlayStation 5 and PC via Epic Games Store on October 24, followed by Xbox Series in early 2024, publisher North Beach Games and developer Free Range Games announced.

Level Infinite has announced strategy game Command & Conquer: Legions for iOS and Android via a licensing agreement with intellectual property owner Electronic Arts. You’ve probably heard of a number of games that use hand-painted elements - usually backgrounds. But what about a game where everything - every object, every background, every platform - was hand-painted? That’s what developer Pat Naoum did in The Master’s Pupil (the trailer of which you can watch below), and it took him a whopping seven years of painting to finish it.
Starfield has finally gone gold ahead of its release next month, indicating that main development on the game has ended and that it's ready to hit store shelves soon. As such, developer Bethesda has confirmed preload details for its expansive space-set RPG, with Xbox Series S/X receiving early treatment on August 17. Meanwhile, PC players on Steam can begin pre-installing the game in anticipation, starting August 30. Additionally, the game will be available to play for free to those who're subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, though access for them will begin on launch day i.e., September 6.
