Amirdrassil Raid & Emerald Dream Zone Loading Screens in Patch 10.2

Mad World: Age of Darkness, a game known for its hand drawn aesthetic and grotesque monsters, is set to undergo a significant balance patch. This update aims to address several issues that have been affecting the player experience, especially where leveling speed and rewards are concerned.

Several new lore books have appeared in the Emerald Dream on the PTR, about the relationship between Elune and Eonar, the nature and history of the Emerald Dream itself, and more hints that sooner or later we'll head west to the continent of Avaloren.

Weave webs of dream with Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle! This very rare intellect staff from Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle is special effect weapon players can obtain from Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope raid in Dragonflight Patch 10.2. Amirdrassil Special Effect Weapons & TrinketsFyr'alath, the Dream Render Legendary 2-Handed Axe We previously highlighted the special effects of several weapons and trinkets as well as the new legendary axe, Fyr'alath, but Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle only got it's special effect attached in a recent PTR build. Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle has a 2-min on-use effect that causes you to weave webs underneath your target that deals moderate AoE nature damage within 8 yards increasing up to 5 targets as well as immobilizes your primary target and slows nearby enemies.

Capcom has shared more information on Dragon’s Dogma 2 at the Tokyo Game Show, with attendees and publications going hands-on with the demo. The environments have looked fairly big so far, which makes sense, given the world is four times larger than the first game. Speaking to VGC, director Hideaki Itsuno also confirmed that exploration is seamless with no loading screens.

With the latest Patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream PTR build, 6 new mounts were added. These mounts show creatures seen in the Dragon Isles and the Emerald Dream, but they're translucent! These will be obtainable from Elianna at the Central Encampment in Amirdrassil, with a new currency called Dream Infusion. It is currently unknown how to obtain this currency, but you will learn how to obtain it by reaching Renown 5 with the Dream Wardens.

The Emerald Dream is the newest zone players will explore in Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream. A vast and ever-changing spirit world that exists outside the boundaries of the physical world, the realm is housing Amirdrassil, the World Tree planted by Tyrande Whisperwind, with its seed crafted from the souls of Night Elves that perished during the Burning of Teldrassil. We come to the Emerald Dream to help defend it from the Primalist forces, led by Fyrakk. The Emerald Dream is also home to several creatures such as sabertooth, fae dragons, somnowls, dreamstags and more. Although most of the Emerald Dream is a lush and verdant area, the impact of Fyrakk's assaults can be seen in areas overtaken by lava.

Profession recipe collectors can rest easy as the recipes from Vault of the Incarnates and Aberrus are returning in the form of Overflowing Satchel of Pilfered Recipes, a drop from the early raid boss Igira the Cruel in Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope.

Amirdrassil raid testing starts today with Heroic Gnarlroot and Igira the Cruel, beginning at 1 PM PDT / 4 PM EDT / 22:00 CEST on the Dragonflight Patch 10.2 PTR! Each Thursday and Friday over the next four weeks will feature approximately two Heroic or Mythic difficulty bosses, with extended weekend testing of Normal difficulty and LFR wings starting on September 22nd. As has become customary, the final boss, Fyrakk the Blazing, will not be tested on any difficulty in order to preserve the surprise! The raid testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a test environment. There’s the possibility of having to change the time of a testing session, change the bosses being tested, or cancel a test entirely due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc.Keep an eye on the PTR forum for the boss feedback threads and the latest information.
