AKI Slithers Her Way Into Street Fighter 6 Next Month

Capcom will release the second DLC fighter for Street Fighter 6, A.K.I., next week. While we’ve seen some of her combos, a new Character Guide video (which also appears in-game) has been released, providing more in-depth information. Check it out below.

Cooler Master and Capcom have teamed up to celebrate the sixth and latest installment of the Street Fighter fighting game series, Street Fighter 6, with a brand-new PC hardware range. Whether you’re a casual fan, or a hardened fighting game expert, this Street Fighter 6 PC hardware range will be the perfect addition to any Capcom or Street Fighter fan’s PC gaming setup.

Street Fighter 6 has been out for over three months now, and it continues to be a big hit with fans. The game was met with critical praise, too, and the sales have been just as good. With the launch behind them, Capcom has been focused on bringing in new characters via its DLC pass. We already had one character release, and now, players are gearing up for the second arrival. That “arrival” is none other than A.K.I., one of the strangest characters in the franchise’s history. Even so, Capcom has dropped a new gameplay preview of the poison-themed character going up against Chun-Li.

A.K.I., the latest DLC character to join Street Fighter 6 as part of the Year 1 Character Pass, arrives in about two weeks. Nevertheless, Capcom has a short new gameplay preview, showcasing some of her moves and combos. Check it out below.

That brings us to a very special challenge laid out by MMA superstar Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, who is the current ONE Flyweight Champion, against AEW wrestler Kenny Omega, with the “challenge” being Street Fighter 6. Street Fighter 6’s first Character Pass is coming quicker than we initially anticipated, with the oddball A.K.I. arriving as early as 27th September. Capcom fully detailed the character with a huge trailer and PlayStation Blog post overnight, confirming that the slithery individual is able to inject poison into enemies who dare to stand too close to her. Consider her a new type of Poison, then, eh?

Alone in the Dark, the reboot of the classic Infogrames/Atari survival horror game in which Jodie Comer and David Harbour spend some time exploring a haunted mansion and trying not to die horribly, has been delayed. Instead of coming out on October 25 as planned, publisher THQ Nordic has opted to push it to January 16, 2024.
