WWE 2K24 Interview: "The Best That It Has Ever Been"

Picking between AMD and Intel is one of the main considerations when building a new PC. Like macOS versus Windows, the AMD versus Intel rivalry is one of the greatest debates for PC enthusiasts, and right now, we are in the middle of a neck-and-neck race that’s bound to get even more heated.

It's been confirmed that WWE 2K24's Showcase mode will have 21 matches total. Showcase is one of the WWE 2K franchise's flagship game modes, and so it's no surprise that it's coming back for WWE 2K24. Sometimes Showcase has focused on specific eras in the WWE, while other times the mode has been used to highlight the careers of specific superstars.

WWE 2K24, the next instalment in 2K's popular annual wrestling video game franchise, has officially been announced. The newest WWE 2K title will launch March 8, across PC (via Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. Along with the release date, 2K also revealed the cover stars for the title. Cody Rhodes will feature on the front cover of the Standard Edition, while Women's Royal Rumble winners Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will share the spotlight on the Deluxe Edition cover. WWE 2K24 also marks 40 years of WrestleMania and will be available in a special Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition, featuring iconic wrestlers from the event's history, including The Rock, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and more, on the cover.

Today, we got the reveal of WWE 2K24 and some details about what to expect and who is featured on the covers for the editions being released. For starters, the focus of this installment is the history of WrestleMania. Past installments typically focus on a particular wrestler’s career and their highlights during a run in the WWE. However, it seems like we have a timespan of forty years to focus on as we take a look at some of the iconic moments of WrestleMania.

WWE fans should definitely keep an eye on Monday, January 22, as a reveal for the upcoming WWE 2K24 will be taking place that day. The WWE 2K series has been going strong since the well-reviewed WWE 2K22, with the following year's WWE 2K23 building on what came before and delivering an even better product. Expectations are high for WWE 2K24 to raise the bar even higher, and it will be interesting to see exactly what the new game brings to the table.
