Wowhead Diablo 4 Build Planner Is Live with Season 4 PTR Data

It turns out the Diablo 4 team didn't quite bring everything to bear in Season 4's Public Test Realm, as there are "a few small" extra items to come at launch.

Diablo 4's Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher has announced that the development team will be hosting a live stream to address player feedback from the recent Season 4 PTR.

The Wowhead team is hiring guide writers for our Diablo 4 site again. This is a paid opportunity at competitive freelance writer rates, with payment for any new content you create and for updates to existing pages. We seek at least one more talented Rogue writer and theorycrafter to expand our team.

In Season 4 of Diablo 4, players will gain access to the Pit of Artificers, a new Endgame mechanic which pits players against the clock while fighting hordes of monsters. Slay enough in time, and you'll gain access to the final boss at the end — a mechanic incredibly similar in form to Diablo 3's Greater Rifts. This content shares a feature that punishes player deaths as well, however this penalty seems to be particularly unforgiving in Diablo 4.

Many players in the Diablo community have expressed their fondness for the Tree of Whispers as a «town hub», even if it is not considered a town by conventional means. The Diablo 4 Patch 1.4.0 PTR added a Jeweler NPC to the Tree of Whispers, making the hub even more useful now! Wowhead community member krismate has found changes to The Lost City of Ureh area during their visit on the Diablo 4 PTR, which was previously blocked off.
