Warner Bros.’ MultiVersus Finally Has a Re-Release Date

Say “sul sul!” to your new most-anticipated movie, as beloved gaming franchise The Sims is set to make a cinematic expansion. The zany life simulation game will be adapted into a feature-length film, following suit with recent video game adaptations like Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, and television’s The Last of Us.

World of Warcraft Classic just announced Season of Discovery is beginning Phase 3 on April 4. This next update increases the level cap for the World of Warcraft servers to 50, adds new Rune engravings for the Helm and Bracer slots, and adds a raid, PvE event, and more for players to discover.

The rather charming-looking Harold Halibut has landed itself a release date.

In November last year, the Australian post-apocalyptic CRPG Broken Roads was abruptly delayed mere days before it was meant to come out. Review code had even been sent out to press. But it was clear that the game needed more time in the oven, as developers Drop Bear Bytes acknowledged they needed "additional polish time and QA manpower" to test the "thousands of permutations" available in its deeply decision-driven storyline. Happily, that polish time has now come to an end, as the devs have today announced a fresh release date of April 10th.

Puzzle Platformer Animal Well now has a confirmed release date of May 9, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

The studio behind Gotham Knights is seemingly supporting Monolith Productions on its upcoming Wonder Woman game. 

If you're fond of the fairly specific blend of doomy theology, rich art direction and Soulslike-tinted metroidvaning encapsulated by Blasphemous, you might also enjoy Saviorless from Cuban team Empty Head Games and publisher Dear Villagers, which now has a PC release date of 2nd April.

Nightdive Studios' remake is coming to consoles. After a successful 2016 Kickstarter that raised over $1.3 million, the title was released on PC in March last year. Despite having a long and troubled development cycle and being delayed several times, the remake was extremely well-received by fans and critics alike, with most praising it for staying true to the beloved 1994 game while bringing it up to modern standards.

Following the end of its open beta last year and a social media tease, the multi-franchise Warner Bros. fighter MultiVersus is back. Earlier today, Player First Games announced its free-to-play game is set to launch on 28th May.

MultiVersus is back from the dead, with its full launch finally announced. This comes after its early access period ended last summer, taking the game offline for months.

More developers have confirmed that they have been told by Warner Bros. Discovery that their games will imminently be delisted from digital storefronts. Soundodger+ and Fist Puncher are both due to vanish, following in the footsteps of puzzle game Small Radios Big Televisions, whose developer announced its imminent delisting earlier this week and released the game for free in response.
