Nguyen would reveal last year that he is working on a personal game project, then titled Dino-Swords. Now, the animator is showing off new gameplay from his in-development project, DinoBlade.
In a new video shared on Nguyen's TikTok account, the developer reveals new gameplay segments for DinoBlade. The video features the player controlling a Spinosaurus wielding a giant sword in its mouth, dropping its sword to execute a vicious finishing attack against a Baryonyx. Past videos of the game have heavily showcased its fast-paced combat, with many fans likening the appearance of the gameplay to Souls-like games. Jean Nguyen has not revealed any information about how DinoBlade will be made available to interested players, nor was a release date confirmed.
While few details have been shared about an official release for DinoBlade, Nguyen has regularly posted new videos of the dinosaur game. Past videos have shown off multiple different dinosaur species that will be playable in DinoBlade, including the Shantungosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex.
