Turbulent Timeways Starts Today - Five Weeks of Timewalking, New Mount, XP Buff

The Turbulent Timeways event for Season 2 starts today! There are two new additions to this event, one mount, rewarded from Master of the Turbulent Timeways, and a new XP buff. Let's see all that is coming with this end-of-season event.
New Mount
The mount addition for the event is the Sandy Shalewing. In order to obtain the mount you must complete Master of the Turbulent Timeways, which requires you to gain Mastery of Timeways during five different weeks during Turbulent Timeways events. Turbulent Timeways event seems to be a new addition that will happen during the last six weeks of every season, so if you miss it this time around, you should be able to get it in the future.

Experience Buff — Gaining Mastery of Timeways
Before getting the mount, you must first obtain Mastery of Timeways five times. You obtain Mastery of Timeways by completing four timewalking dungeons. Completing a Timewalking dungeon grants you a stack of Knowledge of Timeways. Obtaining four stacks of Knowledge of Timeways transforms it into Mastery of Timeways.
Timewalking Rotation and Rewards
For the Dragonflight Season 2 Turbulent Timeways event, the first Timewalking event will be Cataclysm, starting today. With the full rotation being:
- Cataclysm Timewalking: September 26th to October 2nd
- The Burning Crusade Timewalking: October 3rd to October 9th
- Legion Timewalking: October 10th to October 16th
- Mists of PandariaTimewalking: October 17th to October 23rd
- Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking: October 24th to October 30th
- Cataclysm Timewalking: September 27th to October 3rd
- The Burning Crusade Timewalking: October 4th to October 10th
- Legion Timewalking: October 11th to October 17th
- Mists of Pandaria Timewalking: October 18th to October 24th
- Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking: October 25th to October 31st
If you're level 70, don't forget to complete your weekly Timewalking quest, which rewards you with a piece of heroic loot from Aberrus every week during the Turbulent Timeways event!
Dragonflight Season 3?
With Dragonflight Season 1, the end of the Turbulent Timeways event coincided with the start of Dragonflight Season 2. This could mean that Blizzard is planning to release Dragonflight Season 3 on November 7th, or at least Patch 10.2. Note that November 7th is the Tuesday after the BlizzCon 2023 weekend.

If you don't want to do 4 dungeons each week in order to get the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways achievement and mount, you only need to run 1 a week. The Master of the Turbulent Timeways required players to get the Mastery of Timeways buff every week for 5 weeks. To get Mastery of Timeways, you need to do a total of 4 dungeons to stack the buff up to 4 before it expires.
