One Baldur’s Gate 3 Change Might Save You From Committing A Massacre

Every campaign is likely to include its fair share of slaughter, but one big act of violence might no longer be necessary to achieve certain results. Certain party members are more inclined toward violence than others, and committing unpardonable acts can sometimes be the quickest way to their hearts. The most extreme example of this is Minthara, a drow Paladin set on the massacre of the Tieflings in the Druid Grove in Act 1 of the game. Getting her on board has traditionally required making a big moral sacrifice, but the most recent patch could change things in the future.

Wyll the warlock may not be our favorite Baldur's Gate 3 companion, but that's only because the overall standard is so high. In any other RPG he'd be a top pick, and even in Baldur's Gate 3 he's worth keeping around. It's just a shame you can't complete his personal quest, which earns you a sweet Infernal Robe and prevents him from growing a pair of horns, without killing Karlach, who is everyone's number one fave.

Hogwarts Legacy meets The Binding of Isaac in this spell-slinging roguelike with excellent Steam reviews

All it took for me to fancy giving this Steam gem a try was multiple reviews billing it as a mashup of magical action roguelite Noita and the likes of The Binding of Issac or Enter the Gungeon. Looks like I’m not the only one, either, as magical roguelike Magicraft is building up a fine raft of reviews and gentle buzz.

Mods are one of my favourite things about PC gaming, and Baldur's Gate 3 is no different. Give players even the slightest bit of access to your code, and they'll create whole new games, stunning graphical overhauls, and community patches to squash bugs. Then there's also the horrors.

'Very Handsome and Beautiful Withers' Baldur's Gate 3 mod turns your camp's ugly skeleton into a bone-ified sex symbol

The various party members of Baldur's Gate 3 are, of course, staggeringly beautiful. Whether we're talking Ventrue Stewie Griffin, Reddit the wizard, or the jolly green fascist, all of them (plus all their pals) could easily take their turn on the catwalk if the mood struck them.

Baldur’s Gate 3: What Happens If You Give Araj Oblodra Your Blood

is a massive game full of NPCs who an offer the party some truly unique items. One of the strangest is Araj Oblodra, a drow who will give characters potions in exchange for a little blood. It's a wonderfully fantastical little interaction – perfect for 's adaption of ' Faerûn – but is this trade worth it, and what happens once Araj has the blood?

Halloween's over but you can still scare yourself witless with this VR recreation of Amnesia

There are some things in life that I admire but can't claim to properly understand. These include the literary works of James Joyce, the vegan lifestyle, and people who want to play incredibly scary games in VR. I like horror games, but there's a limit on my tolerance, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent landed right on that limit when it slithered out of Frictional Games' culvert a terrifying thirteen years ago. Hence, the mere idea of playing that game in VR makes me shudder.

World of Warcraft: The War Within's most exciting new endgame activity puts a spin on the traditional MMO raid formula: "If you have five Fire Mages you can run a Delve"

There was a lot of World of Warcraft news to unpack at BlizzCon 2023. Developer Blizzard Entertainment unveiled the Worldsoul Saga, a seismic story that will unfold over three expansions – beginning with The War Within in 2024. With a new region to explore, hero talents to unlock, and plenty more besides, it's proving difficult for individual features to break out over the noise. Well, besides the introduction of Delves, that is.

You can now remotely control your ship in Starfield thanks to this mod

One of the major draws of Starfield is the ability to pilot your own spaceship. However, the downside to this is having to trek all the way back to where you parked your ship before you can fly it. Fortunately, someone has solved this little problem.
