The Steam Winter Sale 2023 is now live

Steam’s Winter Sale is currently underway with hundreds of steep discounts across the storefront available until January 4. The festive savings should satisfy gamers no matter what you’re craving this holiday, but Soulslikers in particular should rejoice since the genre’s biggest and bestest are going for cheap.

I’m sure we don’t have to tell you just how expensive video games can be. New AAA releases for the current generation console platforms are fetching as high as $69.99. That’s quite a bit more than what some players might be keen on spending. So, knowing what new releases are worth picking up and which is best to set aside for a discount sale is pretty crucial for our bank accounts. If you’re all for saving a buck, then we typically look at showcasing sales and discount promos when possible. For instance, we have a sale right now that we would like to showcase from Steam.

Steam’s 2023 Winter Sale went live today, December 21. Running until 1:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM Pacific on January 4, the Steam sale offers deals on a wide range of PC games. This includes up to 95% off on some titles.

The Steam winter sale is now underway, with discounts across the digital storefront's catalogue of games from now until January 4th. This also means that voting is now open in the 2023 Steam Awards, with the slightly earlier closing date of January 2nd.

The 2023 Steam Winter Sale is live. You've got until 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BT on January 4, 2024 to add yet more games to your backlog – or, if you're actually a healthy PC gamer, grab something to play immediately – on the cheap.
